Bajaj Electricals Ltd on Friday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 67.53 crore for the March quarter FY26 due to contraction in gross margin and impact from new labour codes. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 59.05 crore in January-March FY25, according to a regulatory filing from Bajaj Electricals. Bajaj Electricals had reported an exceptional item (net loss) of Rs 55.58 crore in the March quarter, mainly due to impairment of Rs 29.31 lakh on certain property, plant and equipment and the implementation of new Labour Codes. It had a profit before exceptional items and tax of Rs 6.85 crore in the quarter under review. Revenue from operations was at Rs 1,239.52 crore in March quarter. It was at Rs 1,265.47 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Total expenses were at Rs 1,242.10 crore. Household Appliances company Bajaj Electricals announced Q4FY26 & FY26 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: Stood at Rs 1,23,952 lakh in Q4FY26, up 17.95% QoQ from Rs 1,05,091 lakh in Q3FY26, but down 2.05% YoY from Rs 1,26,547 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, it was Rs 4,46,216 lakh, registering a decline of 7.59% compared to Rs 4,82,843 lakh in FY25. Total Income: Reported at Rs 1,24,895 lakh in Q4FY26, reflecting a growth of 17.22% QoQ against Rs 1,06,550 lakh in Q3FY26, and a decline of 2.55% YoY compared to Rs 1,28,165 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, Total Income was Rs 4,52,434 lakh, down 7.35% YoY from Rs 4,88,321 lakh in FY25. Profit Before Tax (PBT): The company reported a loss of Rs (5,194) lakh in Q4FY26 compared to a loss of Rs (5,406) lakh in Q3FY26 and a profit of Rs 7,125 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, PBT was a loss of Rs (8,898) lakh against a profit of Rs 16,968 lakh in FY25. Net Profit/Loss After Tax (PAT): Posted a net loss of Rs (6,753) lakh in Q4FY26, compared to a net loss of Rs (3,410) lakh in Q3FY26 and a net profit of Rs 5,905 lakh in Q4FY25. For the full year FY26, the net loss stood at Rs (9,086) lakh as against a net profit of Rs 13,342 lakh in FY25. Standalone Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: Recorded at Rs 1,23,805 lakh in Q4FY26, showcasing an 18.10% QoQ increase from Rs 1,04,830 lakh in Q3FY26, and a 1.95% YoY decrease from Rs 1,26,273 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, revenue stood at Rs 4,44,828 lakh compared to Rs 4,81,591 lakh in FY25. Total Income: Reached Rs 1,24,895 lakh in Q4FY26, up 17.22% QoQ from Rs 1,06,550 lakh in Q3FY26 and down 2.55% YoY from Rs 1,28,165 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, it was Rs 4,52,434 lakh against Rs 4,88,321 lakh in FY25. Profit Before Tax (PBT): Reported a loss of Rs (4,873) lakh in Q4FY26, compared to a loss of Rs (4,917) lakh in Q3FY26 and a profit of Rs 7,125 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, PBT swung to a loss of Rs (7,538) lakh from a profit of Rs 16,968 lakh in FY25. Net Profit/Loss After Tax (PAT): The company reported a net loss of Rs (6,432) lakh in Q4FY26, widening from a net loss of Rs (2,921) lakh in Q3FY26. This compares to a net profit of Rs 5,905 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, net loss stood at Rs (7,726) lakh against a net profit of Rs 13,342 lakh in FY25. Business & Segment Highlights: Segment Performance (Consolidated): Consumer Products: Revenue stood at Rs 92,581 lakh in Q4FY26, down 6.86% YoY from Rs 99,401 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, it reported a revenue of Rs 3,34,265 lakh compared to Rs 3,80,589 lakh in FY25. Lighting Solutions: Revenue stood at Rs 31,371 lakh in Q4FY26, registering an increase of 15.56% YoY from Rs 27,146 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, it reported a revenue of Rs 1,11,951 lakh compared to Rs 1,02,254 lakh in FY25. Dividend: The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 3.00 per share (150%) of face value of Rs 2 each on equity shares for FY26. Fundraising Approval: The Board approved an enabling proposal to raise or borrow funds up to Rs 500 crore via the issuance of securities, including unsecured non-convertible debentures and/or commercial papers, subject to shareholder approval. Management Changes: Ms. Ashween Anand has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel of the company, effective May 16, 2026.
