Cigarettes-Tobacco Products company Godfrey Phillips India announced Q4FY26 & FY26 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Total Income from Continuing Operations: For Q4FY26, the total income from continuing operations stood at Rs 3,48,554 lakh, reflecting an 84.63% YoY increase compared to Rs 1,88,779 lakh in Q4FY25. For the full year FY26, it reached Rs 9,12,094 lakh, up 34.78% YoY from Rs 6,76,749 lakh in FY25. Profit Before Tax from Continuing Operations: Stood at Rs 66,840 lakh in Q4FY26, registering an 80.08% YoY growth from Rs 37,376 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, PBT was Rs 1,93,986 lakh, a 31.87% YoY increase from Rs 1,47,105 lakh in FY25. Net Profit After Tax from Continuing Operations: Reached Rs 52,076 lakh for Q4FY26, up 77.15% YoY against Rs 29,396 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, PAT stood at Rs 1,52,532 lakh, growing 32.30% YoY compared to Rs 1,15,289 lakh in FY25. Total Comprehensive Income: For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, the Total Comprehensive Income stood at Rs 41,998 lakh compared to Rs 44,757 lakh in Q4FY25. For the full year FY26, it was Rs 1,52,154 lakh, up from Rs 142,346 lakh in FY25. Standalone Financial Highlights: Total Income from Continuing Operations: Recorded at Rs 3,49,111 lakh for Q4FY26, marking an 85.05% YoY growth from Rs 1,88,653 lakh in Q4FY25. For the full year FY26, it was Rs 9,11,902 lakh, up 34.93% YoY from Rs 6,75,849 lakh in FY25. Profit Before Tax from Continuing Operations: Stood at Rs 63,429 lakh in Q4FY26, growing 87.03% YoY from Rs 33,914 lakh in Q4FY25. FY26 PBT was Rs 1,92,048 lakh, up 33.18% YoY from Rs 144,205 lakh in FY25. Net Profit After Tax from Continuing Operations: Was Rs 48,375 lakh for Q4FY26, representing an 89.65% YoY increase from Rs 25,508 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, PAT reached Rs 1,50,678 lakh, growing 34.08% YoY compared to Rs 1,12,378 lakh in FY25. Total Comprehensive Income: For Q4FY26, it stood at Rs 48,686 lakh, compared to Rs 24,546 lakh in Q4FY25. For the full year FY26, it reached Rs 1,50,800 lakh against Rs 1,04,405 lakh in FY25. Business & Segment Highlights: Cigarettes, Tobacco and related Products Segment: The segment generated revenue of Rs 3,46,181 lakh in Q4FY26, significantly up from Rs 1,86,589 lakh in Q4FY25. For FY26, segment revenue was Rs 9,00,820 lakh compared to Rs 6,68,956 lakh in FY25. The segment's profit stood at Rs 54,672 lakh in Q4FY26 and Rs 1,48,029 lakh for FY26. Others Segment: Generated revenue of Rs 2,373 lakh in Q4FY26 and Rs 11,274 lakh for FY26. Discontinued Operations: The company had previously decided to exit its Retail Business Division ('24Seven'). Consequently, the retail business was classified as discontinued operations, resulting in a minor profit of Rs 70 lakh for both Q4FY26 and the full year FY26, following the closure of operations by March 31, 2025. Dividend Recommendation: The Board of Directors recommended a Final Dividend of 1650%, translating to Rs 33/- per equity share of Rs 2/- each for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. Combined with the previously declared interim dividend of Rs 17 per share, the total dividend for FY26 amounts to Rs 50 per share. Tax Structure Revision Impact: Effective February 01, 2026, the Government of India revised the indirect tax structure on cigarettes by reducing the compensation cess to "Nil" while simultaneously increasing GST and excise duty. This has caused a significant change in the composition of indirect taxes included in revenue, meaning current figures are not directly comparable to previous periods. Insurance Claim (Fire Incident): Following a fire on October 10, 2025, at a third-party tobacco processing plant and warehouse in District Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh, the company filed an insurance claim for inventory and input tax credit losses aggregating to Rs 28,436 lakh, plus an additional claim for loss of profit. Godfrey Phillips India Q4 results: Net profit up 86% at 521.46 crore

Cigarette maker Godfrey Phillips India Ltd on Friday reported an 86 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 521.46 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, driven by robust sales. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 279.61 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal, Godfrey Phillips India (GPI) said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated total revenue from operations in Q4FY26 stood at Rs 3,485.54 crore as against Rs 1,887.79 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses in the quarter under review were higher at Rs 2,968.42 crore, compared to Rs 1,663.92 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs 3.3 per equity share of Rs 2 each for 2025-26, the company informed the stock exchanges.
