Electrodes & Refractories company HEG announced Q4FY26 & FY26 results Q4FY26 Standalone Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: Stood at Rs 603.21 crore for Q4FY26, representing a decrease of 8.00% QoQ from Rs 655.66 crore and an increase of 12.42% YoY from Rs 536.58 crore. Total Income: Reported at Rs 619.94 crore, a decline of 18.02% QoQ compared to Rs 756.20 crore and an increase of 6.85% YoY compared to Rs 580.21 crore. Net Profit/(Loss) after Tax: The company reported a net loss of Rs 163.19 crore for Q4FY26, compared to a profit of Rs 141.25 crore in Q3FY26 and a loss of Rs 61.68 crore in Q4FY25. Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and Diluted EPS for the quarter was Rs (8.46), as against Rs 7.32 in Q3FY26 and Rs (3.20) in Q4FY25. Q4FY26 Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: Stood at Rs 603.21 crore for Q4FY26, a decrease of 8.00% QoQ from Rs 655.67 crore and an increase of 12.42% YoY from Rs 536.58 crore. Total Income: Reported at Rs 543.10 crore, down 28.32% QoQ from Rs 757.62 crore and down 7.10% YoY from Rs 584.60 crore. Net Profit/(Loss) for the period: The group reported a net loss of Rs 113.77 crore for Q4FY26, compared to a profit of Rs 206.97 crore in Q3FY26 and a loss of Rs 73.67 crore in Q4FY25. Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and Diluted EPS for continuing and discontinued operations was Rs (5.90) for the quarter, compared to Rs 10.72 in Q3FY26 and Rs (3.82) in Q4FY25. FY26 Standalone Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: Reached Rs 2,568.50 crore for FY26, a growth of 19.31% YoY compared to Rs 2,152.71 crore in FY25. Net Profit after Tax: Stood at Rs 180.72 crore, an increase of 78.38% YoY compared to Rs 101.31 crore in FY25. Total Comprehensive Income: Reported at Rs 178.38 crore, up 76.13% YoY from Rs 101.28 crore. Earnings Per Share (EPS): Full-year Basic and Diluted EPS was Rs 9.36, compared to Rs 5.25 in the previous year. Net Cash Flow from Operating Activities: Net cash generated was Rs 354.87 crore for FY26, compared to Rs 318.99 crore in FY25. Dividend: The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 3.40 per equity share of the face value of Rs 2 each (170%) for the financial year 2025-26. FY26 Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from Operations: Stood at Rs 2,568.50 crore for FY26, showing a growth of 19.31% YoY from Rs 2,152.71 crore. Net Profit for the year: Reported at Rs 341.36 crore, a significant increase of 196.68% YoY from Rs 115.06 crore in FY25. Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and Diluted EPS from continuing and discontinued operations was Rs 17.69 for FY26, compared to Rs 5.96 in FY25. Net Cash Flow from Operating Activities: Net cash generated was Rs 213.19 crore for FY26, compared to Rs 279.70 crore in FY25. Net Worth: Consolidated net worth as of March 31, 2026, was Rs 4,757.92 crore. Business Highlights: Composite Scheme of Arrangement: The Board has approved a scheme involving the demerger of the Graphite Business into a resulting company (HEG Graphite Limited) and the amalgamation of Bhilwara Energy Limited into HEG Limited. The scheme is pending final approvals from NCLT. Mark-to-Market (MTM) Impact: The quarterly loss was significantly impacted by an MTM loss on investments measured at FVTPL, including a decrease in the fair value of equity shares of Graftech International Limited, USA, amounting to Rs 192.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. New Labour Codes: The implementation of New Labour Codes resulted in a one-time increase in the provision for gratuity and long-term compensated absences by Rs 10.67 crore (Standalone) and Rs 15.26 crore (Consolidated). Subsidiary Expansion (TACC Limited): The Board approved the creation of security to secure credit facilities aggregating up to Rs 1,239 crore availed by TACC Limited from the State Bank of India. About HEG
HEG, established in 1972 is renowned public limited company and important part of the LNJ Bhilwara group. It is widely recognized for being India's top producer of graphite electrodes, essential components used in various industries.
