    Hindustan Copper Limited was established in 1967 to replace National Mineral Development Corporation Ltd. It is only vertically integrated copper production business in Indi & country's first PSU. From first stage of copper mining to ultimate stage of turning copper into marketable products, Hindustan Copper is involved in variety of processes. Only public sector company manufacturing copper is Hindustan Copper Limited, which handles all aspects of process from mining to beneficiation, smelting, refining, casting, & transforming refined copper metal into marketable goods. More than 80% of the nation's copper reserves are leased to Hindustan Copper. business boasts a large distribution network, vertically integrated operations, well-developed infrastructure, & loyal customer base.

    Products: Continuous Cast Copper Rod, Copper Cathode, & Copper Concentrate are Hindustan Copper’s principal offerings.

    Its Products & By Products include:

    1) Copper sulfate;
    2) Sulfuric acid;
    3) Anode slime;
    4) Nickel hydroxide; &
    5) Reverts.

    Plant Locations: Taloj in Maharashtra, Jhagadia in Gujarat, Ghatsila in Jharkhand, Malankjand in Madhya Pradesh, & Khetrinagar in Rajasthan are locations of HCL's five plants. Installed Capacity: HCL has annual copper cathode refining capacity of 68,500 MT & annual smelting capacity of 18,500 MT. At Taloja factory, 60,000 MT of wire rod capacity is installed.
