Market Position: Co. is among the top six companies in the pipes and fittings business, with around 5% of the PVC pipe market. More than 7200 SKUs, distributed across 10 warehouses and more than 1500 channel partners in India, enable this. Brand Portfolio: Under the Prince and Trubore brands, the company offers polymer piping solutions in five different polymer types: CPVC, UPVC, HDPE, PPR, and LLDP.
Brand-New Location: Co. has purchased property in the Begusarai industrial area of Bihar to construct its eighth manufacturing plant. This factory will meet the needs of North East India and begin commercial production in Q4FY25. In Q3FY24, the company performed the bhoomi puja for the same. Also, the company suggested raising capital expenditures from about Rs. 150 crores to about Rs. 220 crores in order to put up a fittings line at the facility.
Acquisition: Under an asset purchase agreement with Klaus Waren Fixtures Private Limited ("KWFPL") and Narshi Mulji Shah (the "Asset Purchase Agreement"), the company purchased Aquel brand assets (along with all IP rights) on March 24 for approximately Rs. 55 crores. The acquisition was made in two tranches. This acquisition is strategically made for the bathroom and fittings market.
