Volumes were also high during the session. Volumes stood at 11.10 lakh as compared to its 30-day average of 4.57 lakh.
The rally came ahead of the company meeting analysts and investors in Mumbai on September 3.
2. Why is Finolex Cables' Share Price Buzzing on Thursday?
Finolex Cables share price rose more than 6% on Thursday. At 11:09, the stock was trading at 1269, a gain of 6.53% as compared to its previous close of ₹1,191.20.
The rally came ahead of its ex-dividend date, which is scheduled for tomorrow, i.e. September 4, 2026. The company has declared a dividend of ₹9 per equity share.
3. Anant Raj Share Price Rallies 7%, Here’s Why
Anant Raj share price also rallied on Thursday on back of robust volumes. The shares opened with a gap-up and at 11:17, the stock was trading at ₹633, reflecting a gain of 7.50% as compared to its previous close of ₹588.85.
Talking about the high volumes, volumes stood at 124.30 lakh as compared to its 30-day average of 22.60 lakh.
Recently, on August 20, 2026, the company got a RERA registration certificate for the Estate One Project.
Top Losers for September 3: Hexaware Technologies, Godrej Consumer and MCX India Fell Up to 3.6%

Hexaware Technologies share price emerged as the top loser in the Nifty 500 index.
The stock opened with a gap-down and was trading at ₹523.85 at 11:14 am. At this level, the stock was down 3.63% as compared to its previous close of ₹543.60.
The fall in Hexaware Technologies share price came after Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan resigned as the chief executive officer (CEO) and whole-time director of the firm, effective from October 28, 2026. He will be replaced by Vivek Jetley as CEO for a term of four years, with effect from October 28, 2026.
2. Godrej Consumer Product Made a 52-Week Low on September 3, Here’s Why
Godrej Consumer Products Ltd also fell and made a 52-week low on September 3.
The stock opened in red and was trading at ₹873 at 11:18 am, down 3.54% as compared to its previous close.
At the investor meeting on September 2, the new MD and CEO acknowledged the challenging environment, noting that the company's core categories have remained flat and profitability has come under pressure.
3. MCX India Share Price Declines; Know the Reason
MCX India share price also emerged as one of the top losers in the Nifty 500 index on September 3.
As of 11:23 am, the stock was trading at ₹3,188, reflecting a fall of 2.98%.
MCX reported a sequentially weaker set of earnings for the June quarter, with profit, revenue and operating margins declining amid a slowdown in transaction volumes.
