2. Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds follows an integrated seed production process involving procurement of breeder seeds, contract farming, processing, quality testing, packing and distribution, enabling quality control across the value chain.
3. The company procures improved genetic seed material from recognised agricultural institutions, government-supported research organisations and other sources, supporting product quality and reliability.
4. Its business model combines contract seed production with the flexibility to procure seeds directly from farmers and the open market when required, reducing dependence on a single procurement channel.
Weaknesses
1. The company currently works with a limited number of contract seed-growing farmers, which could create operational challenges if production levels are affected.

3. The business depends on the availability and quality of agricultural produce and seed-growing activities, which may be affected by factors beyond the company's control, including crop performance and farming conditions.
4. The company has indicated plans to expand its geographical area of operations, suggesting that its current market presence remains concentrated in selected regions.
Opportunities
1. India's seed market is projected to grow from approximately USD 3.82 billion in 2025 to USD 5.00 billion by 2030, supported by increasing adoption of certified seeds and improved agricultural practices.
2. Government initiatives such as the National Mission on High-Yielding Seeds and the Clean Plant Program may support demand for quality seed products across the agricultural sector.
3. Rising adoption of climate-smart varieties and hybrid seeds creates opportunities for companies engaged in seed development and distribution.
4. Growing demand for specialised vegetable seeds and high-value agricultural products could provide additional avenues for future expansion.
Threats
1. Agricultural production remains vulnerable to adverse weather conditions, changing climatic patterns and other environmental factors that can affect seed demand and crop yields.
2. Counterfeit seed products and regulatory uncertainties within the seed industry may affect market growth and profitability.
3. Competitive pressure from multinational seed companies and regional seed producers could impact market share and margins.
4. Fluctuations in raw material costs, inflationary pressures and broader economic conditions may influence operating performance and profitability.
