Key Takeaways:

  • Aditya Mulki’s resignation from the position of Chief Executive Officer of Navi Mutual Fund becomes effective on 6 October 2026.
  • Mulki had also served as a Whole-time Director of Navi AMC and previously led investments at the company.
  • Before joining Navi, he worked at Quantum Advisors in equity research and has experience across equity research and fund management.

Aditya Mulki’s resignation as Chief Executive Officer of Navi Mutual Fund takes effect on 6 October 2026, marking a leadership change at Navi AMC.

The resignation had been announced ahead of the effective date, with the mutual fund stating that Mulki would step down from the CEO position from 6 October.

Mulki had been serving as both Whole-time Director and Chief Executive Officer of Navi AMC.

According to Navi's corporate-governance disclosures, he has more than a decade of experience across equity research and fund management. Before becoming CEO, he served as Navi's Head of Investments. Earlier in his career, he was associated with Quantum Advisors India.

He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce and is a CFA charterholder.

Mulki's association with Navi's mutual fund operations also predates his appointment to the top management role. Earlier scheme documents listed him as a fund manager across several Navi equity and passive products, including index funds and diversified equity schemes.

The effective resignation date creates an AMC-level management change rather than a direct alteration to the investment mandate of an individual mutual fund scheme.

Mutual funds operate within a defined governance structure involving the asset management company, trustees, fund managers, compliance personnel and other key executives. A change in the chief executive position therefore concerns the management of the AMC as a whole.

Navi's corporate disclosures identify Navi AMC Limited as the investment manager to Navi Mutual Fund and Navi Trustee Limited as the trustee entity.

The AMC's investment team currently includes Ashutosh Shirwaikar as Head of Investments and Tanmay Sethi in debt fund management, according to Navi's management disclosures.

As of the effective date, the announcement concerns Mulki's departure. Details of any permanent successor to the CEO position should be treated separately when formally announced by the fund house.

Scheme portfolios, objectives and other investor-facing terms do not automatically change merely because of an AMC leadership transition. Any subsequent changes to key personnel or scheme management would require separate disclosures under the applicable mutual fund framework.
