The fund house acquired 1,00,127 Havells India shares through open-market transactions on October 16, 2026. Its aggregate holding subsequently increased from 3,13,54,946 shares to 3,14,55,073 shares.

In percentage terms, HDFC Mutual Fund's interest rose from 4.996% to 5.012% of Havells India's paid-up equity capital.

The change is small in percentage-point terms, at 0.016 percentage points. However, crossing 5% is relevant from a disclosure perspective. The holding was therefore disclosed under Regulation 29(1) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
