Quant Small Cap Fund recorded the highest 10-year systematic investment plan return among the diversified equity schemes covered in a Value Research dataset, delivering an annualised SIP return of 25.64%.

Nippon India Small Cap Fund ranked next with a 10-year SIP return of 22.12%, followed by Invesco India Mid Cap Fund at 21.28%. 

Quant ELSS Tax Saver Fund generated 21.21%, while Union Small Cap Fund recorded 20.78% over the same 10-year SIP horizon.

The analysis showed that a ₹1,000 monthly SIP in the leading scheme would have grown to approximately ₹4.67 lakh over the 10-year period. 

A ₹1,000 monthly investment for 10 years represents total contributions of ₹1.20 lakh, with the difference between the invested amount and ending value reflecting the historical investment gains generated over the period. 

The data also shows a relatively strong presence of small-cap and mid-cap strategies among the higher-returning funds in the study. 

The return figures are SIP returns rather than lump-sum compound annual growth rates. Since an SIP involves multiple cash flows over different dates, its annualised return is generally measured using XIRR.
