On Wednesday, Indian markets closed higher as the Sensex gained 0.38% to settle at 82,693.71, while the Nifty 50 advanced 0.36% to 25,330.25. Buying interest was led by TATA Consumer Products, SBI and Bharat Electronics, while ITC, Bajaj Finserv and Titan ended in the red. Globally, Asian peers finished mostly positive, European markets were mixed at mid-session, and in previous session U.S. indices traded lower with modest declines across the Dow, S&P 500 and NASDAQ.

Domestic Indices Extend Gains: Indian benchmarks ended higher, with the Sensex up 0.38% at 82,693.71 and the Nifty 50 advancing 0.36% to 25,330.25. TATA Consumer Products led the gainers with a 4.05% rise, followed by SBI at 3.08% and Bharat Electronics at 2.31%. On the downside, Bajaj Finserv fell 1.12% and Titan slipped 0.95%.
