Puravankara, Afcons Infrastructure, JK Paper, GE Vernova T&D India, Vascon Engineers and JSW Steel are among the key stocks expected to remain in focus on May 19 amid earnings announcements, project wins and large institutional transactions.
Several companies, including Bharat Electronics, Zydus Lifesciences, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Karnataka Bank, PI Industries and Zee Entertainment Enterprises, are also scheduled to announce quarterly earnings during the day.
Quarterly Earnings In Focus
Puravankara reported a sharp rise in fourth-quarter revenue on a consolidated basis. Revenue increased 177.3% year-on-year to ₹1,501.9 crore from ₹541.6 crore.
Afcons Infrastructure posted a consolidated net loss of ₹88.4 crore for the March quarter against a profit of ₹110.9 crore a year earlier. Revenue declined 18.9% to ₹2,613.8 crore from ₹3,223.3 crore.
JK Paper reported a 36.4% increase in consolidated profit at ₹90.2 crore compared with ₹66.1 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue rose 17.2% to ₹1,966 crore.
GE Vernova T&D India posted strong quarterly growth, with profit rising 88.6% year-on-year to ₹351.8 crore. Revenue climbed 42% to ₹1,637.1 crore.
DOMS Industries reported consolidated profit growth of 17.1% at ₹56.7 crore, while revenue increased 18.7% to ₹604 crore.
Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals reported consolidated profit of ₹396 crore, up 87.7% from the year-ago period. Revenue rose 7.4% to ₹2,208 crore.
Indraprastha Gas reported a 25.2% decline in profit to ₹340.5 crore despite revenue increasing 5.4% to ₹4,162.7 crore. Astral, Triveni Turbine and Subros also reported growth in both revenue and profit for the March quarter.
Vascon Engineers, Eicher Motors In Spotlight
Vascon Engineers received a Letter of Intent worth ₹131.58 crore from Reliance Industries for the construction of four G+12 FLL-type buildings in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The company said the project is expected to be completed within 19 months.
Eicher Motors will also remain in focus after its subsidiary Royal Enfield moved ahead with plans for a new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The company is set to acquire 215.7 acres of land in Tada near Tirupati and plans to invest around ₹2,500 crore in the project.
Bulk And Block Deal Activity
JSW Steel witnessed major institutional transactions during the session. GQG Partners’ Emerging Markets Equity Fund purchased 1.5 crore shares, representing a 0.61% stake, for ₹1,890 crore. SBI Mutual Fund acquired another 1 crore shares worth ₹1,260 crore. The transaction price stood at ₹1,260 per share.
JSW Energy, part of the promoter group, sold shares through the transaction. As of March 2026, the entity held a 2.86% stake in JSW Steel.
In PNGS Reva Diamond Jewellery, promoter Govind Vishwanath Gadgil bought 1.6 lakh shares worth ₹5.85 crore at ₹365.78 per share.
Other Stocks And Corporate Actions
RFBL Flexi Pack and Goldline Pharmaceutical are scheduled to list in the SME segment on May 19. Metropolis Healthcare, Man Infraconstruction, Alicon Castalloy and Atishay will trade ex-dividend, while IndiGrid Infrastructure Trust will trade ex-date for income distribution.
Kaynes Technology India and SAIL remained under the futures and options ban list for the session.
