Several companies are likely to remain in focus on May 26 following quarterly earnings announcements, fundraising updates, order inflows and key corporate developments.
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Siemens, Brainbees Solutions, AstraZeneca Pharma India, Carraro India, EIH, Finolex Industries, Gujarat Fluorochemicals, Gandhar Oil Refinery, General Insurance Corporation of India, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, JK Tyre & Industries, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels, Procter & Gamble Health and Senco Gold are scheduled to report quarterly earnings today.
Q4 Earnings In Focus
Container Corporation of India reported a 12.4% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit at ₹262.7 crore for the March quarter, while revenue slipped 1.1% to ₹2,263.3 crore.
Amara Raja Energy & Mobility posted a 94.5% jump in consolidated profit to ₹314.3 crore. Revenue increased 15.5% to ₹3,535.8 crore, supported by exceptional gains of ₹181.2 crore.
Pine Labs reported a consolidated profit of ₹59.4 crore against a loss of ₹28.9 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose 17% to ₹700.5 crore.
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail widened its consolidated loss to ₹148.4 crore from ₹16.87 crore despite a 15.7% increase in revenue to ₹1,990.1 crore.
Awfis Space Solutions recorded a 107% rise in consolidated profit at ₹23.2 crore, while revenue climbed 20.7% to ₹410.1 crore.
Hitachi Energy India posted a 79.7% increase in profit to ₹330.5 crore with revenue rising 46.2% to ₹2,754 crore.
Suprajit Engineering reported a 161.1% jump in consolidated profit at ₹71.1 crore, while revenue rose 18.8% to ₹1,041.9 crore.
Rail Vikas Nigam reported a 58.9% fall in consolidated profit to ₹187.1 crore. Revenue, however, increased 4.2% to ₹6,695.9 crore.
Key Corporate Developments
Bharat Electronics said it secured additional orders worth ₹608 crore since May 5. The orders include communication equipment, radar systems, avionics, jammers, simulators and defence-related subsystems. Trident said Chief Financial Officer Avneesh Barua has resigned and will step down on May 29.
One 97 Communications said its subsidiary Paytm Cloud Technologies approved an additional investment of EUR 9 million in Paytm Europe Payments SA.
JSW Energy completed its ₹4,000 crore qualified institutional placement at an issue price of ₹525 per share.
NLC India signed an agreement with Nuclear Power Corporation of India to form a joint venture for nuclear power projects.
Raymond approved the issuance of up to 66.57 lakh warrants worth ₹330.88 crore on a preferential basis to promoter group entity JK Investors (Bombay).
Block Deals And Market Activity
Promoters of Premier Energies sold a combined 5.29% stake worth ₹2,290.58 crore through block deals at ₹955 per share.
HDFC Mutual Fund acquired a 0.37% stake in Global Health for ₹122.5 crore through a block deal.
Teamtech Formwork Solutions is scheduled to list on NSE Emerge today.
In the derivatives segment, SAIL remains under the F&O ban list, while Kaynes Technology India has moved out of the ban period.
