Q3 Results and Updates Dominate
Retailers, including TCS, HCL Technologies, and Anand Rathi Wealth, have posted Q3 financial results today. Signature Global showed a decline in pre-sales, as well as area sold, but an increase in collections. Phoenix Mills reported increases in RevPAR during the festival season due to strong retail growth during the period. Spandana Sphoorty is exploring a merger with its Subsidiary, Criss Financial.
Energy and Tech Highlights
NTPC entered into a shareholder agreement to acquire Sinnar Thermal Power Company for an estimated ₹3,800.14 crores, bringing the company’s total generation capacity to 86,987 MW (one of India's largest power companies). On the other hand, Websol Energy has received approval from the government of Andhra Pradesh for a 4GW solar park, including a captive power facility of 100MW capacity. Bharat Forge has signed a memorandum of understanding with Germany-based Agile Robotics, which specialises in Artificial Intelligence (AI) robotics.

Devyani International sold its minority stake in Peanut Butter & Jelly to Heritage Foods. Prestige Estates and its joint development partner entered into a land agreement in Chennai. Akzo Nobel appointed Parth Jindal to be Chairman, while Rajiv Rajgopal is being re-designated as Joint Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. ICICI Lombard is inquiring into a WhatsApp group that was inadvertently leaked. Vedanta's NCLT has permitted the formation of a scheme of arrangement between one of its subsidiaries. The Vice President of Supply Chain at Vishal Mega Mart has resigned. Eternal Company had discrepancies related to GST.

Bank of America purchased 0.66% of the ownership interest in MTAR Technologies. Tiger Strategies sold a portion of its stake in EPW India. Société Générale purchased shares in Tata Capital from Marshall Wace.
