Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has secured a Letter of Acceptance from East Coast Railway for bridge construction work related to the third and fourth railway lines on the Bhadrak-Vizianagaram section. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract, covering the Nergundi-Barang and Khurda Road-Vizianagaram stretches, is valued at ₹967.92 crore.

HFCL received an order worth ₹2,666.09 crore from RVNL for the BharatNet Phase-III project in Uttar Pradesh. The scope includes supply of telecom equipment, development of an optical fibre cable network and maintenance support for 10 years.

Bosch Home Comfort will remain in focus after promoter Bosch Global Software Technologies announced an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 21.7 lakh shares, representing a 7.97% stake. The OFS will open on June 18 and June 19, with a floor price fixed at ₹1,150 per share. The issue includes a greenshoe option of 0.75%.

Lemon Tree Hotels announced the opening of a new property in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. The hotel will be operated by its subsidiary, Carnation Hotels, taking the company’s network in the state to 23 properties.

Balkrishna Industries appointed Saroj Kumar Khuntia as Chief Financial Officer with effect from June 18. Madhusudan Bajaj stepped down as CFO and Key Managerial Personnel after attaining the age of superannuation.

Lupin Launches Hypertension Drug In U.S.

Lupin said it has launched Azilsartan Medoxomil tablets in strengths of 40 mg and 80 mg in the U.S. market after receiving approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its abbreviated new drug application.

The product is the generic version of Edarbi, marketed by Azurity Pharmaceuticals, and is used for treating hypertension in adults. Lupin said it is the exclusive first-to-file applicant and is entitled to 180 days of generic drug exclusivity.

Block Deal Activity In Focus

Corona Remedies witnessed large transactions as Sepia Investments, an affiliate of ChrysCapital, sold 43.28 lakh shares, representing a 7.07% stake, for ₹748.9 crore. Anchor Partners also sold 1.61 lakh shares worth ₹28 crore. The deals were executed at ₹1,730 per share. Several domestic and foreign institutional investors participated in the transactions.

Italian stationery company FILA reduced its holding in DOMS Industries by selling a 7% stake for ₹934.7 crore. Axis Mutual Fund and SBI Mutual Fund were among the buyers.

HDFC Life Insurance Company pared its stake in Finolex Industries by selling 80.47 lakh shares, equivalent to 1.29%, for ₹136.54 crore. Garg Brothers sold a 1.14% stake in Baazar Style Retail through block deals worth ₹28.76 crore.

Other Key Triggers

Susan Electricals India is scheduled for its SME market listing on June 18. HDB Financial Services, Tata Technologies, JSW Infrastructure, Capital Small Finance Bank, eMudhra, GHCL, Monika Alcobev, Swastika Investmart and Vimta Labs will trade ex-dividend, while Oasis Securities will trade ex-rights.

Meanwhile, Kaynes Technology India will remain under the futures and options ban list for the session.
