Graphite India Faces Preliminary U.S. Duty
Graphite India said the U.S. Department of Commerce has issued a preliminary affirmative determination in its countervailing duty (CVD) investigation involving large-diameter graphite electrode exports. According to the company, a preliminary countervailing duty of 3.68% has been imposed on exports of the product.
The Graphite India share price is expected to remain in focus as investors assess the impact of the proposed duty on exports to the U.S. market.
RVNL Bags Railway EPC Contract
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from East Central Railway for a railway infrastructure project valued at ₹358.97 crore.
The EPC contract involves doubling works for 25T Indian Railway Standard Loading between Kundawa Chainpur and Raxaul as part of the Sitamarhi-Raxaul doubling project in the Samastipur Division. The RVNL share price may remain on investors’ radar following the order announcement.
LIC And NTPC Announce Leadership Changes
Life Insurance Corporation of India informed the exchanges that Shatmanyu Shrivastava, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), has been appointed as the corporation’s Chief Financial Officer with effect from July 28.
NTPC also announced that the President of India has approved the re-employment of Gurdeep Singh as Chairman and Managing Director on a contract basis for an additional six months beyond July 31, 2026. The extension will take effect from August 1. The NTPC share price could remain in focus following the development.
Euro Panel Products Expands Solar Capacity
Euro Panel Products said its flagship brand, EUROBOND, has commenced operations at a new 2.2 MW grid-connected solar facility in Surat.
According to the company, the commissioning completes the third phase of its energy expansion programme and increases its operational solar capacity to 3.6 MW. The company added that captive solar power will now meet nearly 50% of its factory’s electricity requirement, compared with about 20% earlier.
Bulk Deals And Corporate Actions
Among bulk transactions, Societe Generale sold 5.22 lakh shares, or 0.53%, in Gandhar Oil Refinery India at an average price of ₹241.88 per share. In Aqylon Nexus, Pine Oak Global Fund purchased an additional 25 lakh shares, while Sera Investments & Finance India sold 18.63 lakh shares. Nova Global Opportunities Fund PCC – Touchstone acquired 20 lakh shares in Asian Granito India at ₹60 per share. Separately, Axis Bank sold 34.33 lakh units of Raajmarg Infra Investment Trust at ₹116.50 per unit.
Shree Balaji Mala Textiles is scheduled to make its SME market debut today. Alembic Pharmaceuticals, ASM Technologies, Godrej Agrovet, IFGL Refractories, Rane (Madras), Route Mobile, Shakti Pumps India, Siemens, TTK Prestige and Ugar Sugar Works will trade ex-dividend. These developments are expected to keep the respective share price of the companies in focus throughout the trading session.
