Mahindra Finance Approves ₹1,000 Crore NCD Issue

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services approved the issuance of 1 lakh non-convertible debentures with a face value of ₹1 lakh each, aggregating up to ₹1,000 crore. The debentures will have a tenure of three years and carry an interest rate of 7.90% per annum.

Craftsman Automation Plans ₹2,000 Crore Fundraise

Craftsman Automation’s board approved raising up to ₹2,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares with a face value of ₹5 each. The company did not disclose further details regarding the fundraising route.

HCLTech Invests In Sarvam AI Parent

HCL Technologies invested ₹1,427.25 crore in Axonwise Private Limited, the company behind Sarvam AI. The investment marks a significant capital commitment by the IT services major toward India’s artificial intelligence ecosystem.

Cyient Clears ₹720 Crore Buyback

Cyient received board and shareholder approval for a share buyback worth up to ₹720 crore through the tender offer route. The company plans to repurchase up to 64 lakh equity shares at ₹1,125 per share.

GIC Re OFS To Open This Week

Shares of General Insurance Corporation of India may remain active after the Government of India announced an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 3.51 crore shares, representing a 2% stake in the reinsurer.

The government also retains an option to sell an additional 3% stake, taking the total offer size to 5%. The OFS is scheduled for June 16 and June 17 and is aimed at meeting minimum public shareholding requirements.

IRCTC Appoints New Finance Director

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation appointed Rajneesh Narain as Director (Finance) with effect from June 15, 2026.

Angel One Settles SEBI Proceedings

Angel One settled proceedings initiated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India over alleged supervision-related lapses by paying ₹4.28 crore. The matter stands closed, and no further penalty has been imposed.

Other Key Corporate Updates

Bandhan Bank approved the sale of identified non-performing assets from its housing finance portfolio. The principal outstanding amount of these assets stood at ₹303.74 crore.

Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail announced that Sangeeta Tanwani will step down as Whole-Time Director on July 31, 2026, and will continue as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director from August 1. Suraj Bahirwani will assume the role of CEO of Pantaloons from August 1, earlier than previously planned.

Vikran Engineering received an IND BBB+/Stable rating from India Ratings for its proposed ₹50 crore non-convertible debenture issue. Separately, India Ratings affirmed Birla Corporation’s IND AA/Stable rating on bank facilities worth ₹378.15 crore and assigned the same rating to additional facilities of ₹120.34 crore.
