HDFC Bank, Cipla, Max Estates, Avantel, Axiscades Technologies, Tata Chemicals and several other companies reported developments after the previous trading session that could influence their shares on August 31.

HDFC Bank, Cipla Among Key Stocks

HDFC Bank said Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Sashidhar Jagdishan will retire from the bank’s services on October 26, 2026, after deciding not to seek another term. The board has begun the process of selecting his successor. The development could remain relevant for the HDFC Bank share price during Monday’s session.

Cipla said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration classified the inspection of Unit 3 at its subsidiary InvaGen Pharmaceuticals as Voluntary Action Indicated. The inspection was conducted from July 13 to July 17, 2026.

Aurobindo Pharma reported that the U.S. FDA inspection of Unit-VI, an API manufacturing facility operated by its subsidiary Apitoria Pharma in Andhra Pradesh, concluded with three procedural observations. The inspection took place between August 24 and August 28.

Orders And Business Updates

Avantel has received a ₹117.88 crore contract from the Defence Research and Development Organisation for developing, installing and commissioning a Ground Segment Hub for voice and data communication.
Axiscades Technologies plans to acquire up to 90% of Bengaluru-based Cloud Wave Technologies for around ₹234 crore. It may later purchase the remaining 10% stake.

NBCC has entered into an MoU with NHPC for infrastructure projects across India. The projects will include residential and commercial facilities, office complexes and related infrastructure, with NBCC charging a project management consultancy fee of 5.5%.

Ashoka Buildcon has received a Letter of Acceptance worth ₹602.16 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam for the supply and commissioning of an electromechanical system.

Max Estates, Tata Chemicals In Focus

Max Estates will acquire the entire ownership of promoter-held land companies owning about 84.71 acres in West Delhi. The transaction will be completed through a share swap. The land parcel has an estimated gross development value of ₹10,000-12,000 crore.

Tata Chemicals North America has been declared the successful bidder for soda ash customer contracts of Searles Valley Minerals in the U.S. The contracts cover more than half a million metric tonnes of customer orders through December 2028 and are expected to generate more than $110 million in revenue.

For investors tracking the Max Estates share price, the land acquisition will be a key corporate development. The Tata Chemicals share price may also remain on the radar following the subsidiary’s successful bid.

Other Corporate Developments

Reliance Industries said Jio Platforms has received SEBI’s observation letter for its proposed IPO. Hero MotoCorp acquired another 3.01% stake in Ather Energy for ₹1,758.24 crore, raising its holding.

Ola Electric has received approval for ₹95.81 crore in incentives under the automobile PLI scheme. Indraprastha Gas will raise CNG prices across Delhi-NCR by ₹3.89 per kg.

Meanwhile, Blackstone entities will sell up to a 25.03% stake in Knowledge Realty Trust through an OFS on August 31 and September 1, with the floor price fixed at ₹108 per unit.
