Shares of ICICI Prudential AMC, Foseco India, Aye Finance, Bharat Electronics and several other companies are likely to remain in focus on August 27 following corporate announcements and bulk transactions.
ICICI Prudential AMC, Foseco India, Aye Finance
Prudential Corporation Holdings is likely to sell a 2% stake in ICICI Prudential AMC through a block deal to meet minimum public shareholding requirements. The proposed transaction is valued at ₹3,121 crore. Prudential Corporation held 34.59% in the company, while total promoter ownership stood at 87.6% as of June 2026, according to reports.
Morganite Crucible and Morgan Terrassen BV are planning to offload their entire 15.27% stake in Foseco India through a block deal. The offer is estimated at ₹664.4 crore, with the floor price fixed at ₹5,773.63 per share.
Alpha Wave India I LP is also expected to exit Aye Finance through a block deal by selling its complete 7.8% stake. The transaction size is pegged at ₹320.4 crore, with a floor price of ₹167 per share.
Bharat Electronics, Fino Payments Bank
Bharat Electronics has received additional orders worth ₹730 crore since August 10. The orders cover communication equipment, radar, avionics, tank sub-systems, electro-optics, cybersecurity, perimeter security, medical electronics, electronic voting machines, jammers, batteries, spares and related services.
The RBI has approved a further three-month extension for Ketan Merchant as Interim CEO of Fino Payments Bank from August 27, 2026, or until the regular MD and CEO takes charge, whichever is earlier.
The ICICI Prudential AMC share price, Foseco India share price and Aye Finance share price could remain on the radar as investors assess the proposed stake sales.
IRB Infrastructure, Max Healthcare, Vedanta
IRB Infrastructure Developers has approved an investment of up to ₹351 crore in IRB InvIT Fund through a preferential issue. The company plans to subscribe to as many as 5.4 crore units at ₹65 each. The fund is raising capital to acquire two project special purpose vehicles from IRB Infrastructure Trust.
Alps Hospital, a subsidiary of Max Healthcare Institute, has received a show-cause-cum-demand notice from DGGI Mumbai involving a GST demand of ₹165.7 crore, including a penalty of ₹110.47 crore.
Vedanta Resources has denied reports suggesting a proposed sale of its stake in Vedanta, Vedanta Aluminium or another group company. It said there is currently no such plan.
Bulk And Block Deals
In bulk transactions, Lightspeed Opportunity Fund II sold its entire 1.61% stake in Physicswallah for ₹549.73 crore. General Atlantic Singapore RR sold an 8.37% stake in Rubicon Research for ₹2,291.61 crore.
Ribbit Capital entities together sold 11.31 crore shares in Billionbrains Garage Ventures, representing 1.8% of the company, for ₹2,217.3 crore.
Welspun Investments and Commercials sold a 2.27% stake in Welspun Corp for ₹1,365.2 crore, while Capital Group acquired a 1.81% holding for ₹1,088.6 crore.
Other stocks in focus include Viyash Scientific, Gaja Capital, Avenue Supermarts and Standard Engineering Technology following reported stake transactions. Power Finance Corporation, Procter & Gamble Health, Thomas Cook (India), DOMS Industries, Yash Highvoltage and Manaksia Coated Metals & Industries will trade ex-dividend. SAIL is in the F&O ban list.
