JSW Infrastructure, Bharat Electronics, Vodafone Idea, Info Edge and a handful of other companies are likely to be in focus on June 23 following announcements made after Monday’s trading session.

JSW Infrastructure Launches QIP

JSW Infrastructure initiated a qualified institutional placement (QIP) to raise capital through the issue of up to 23 crore equity shares. The issue opened on June 22 and carries a floor price of ₹290.35 per share.

Separately, the Sajjan Jindal Family Trust plans to sell as many as 3.3 crore shares through an offer for sale. The company intends to use the proceeds to support future port infrastructure projects.

Bharat Electronics Bags Fresh Orders

State-run Bharat Electronics said it has secured additional orders worth ₹1,081 crore since May 25. The contracts relate to defence and electronics systems, including radar equipment, communication platforms and weapons-related solutions. The latest wins add to the company’s existing order book and strengthen its execution pipeline.

Vodafone Idea Approves Warrant Issue

Vodafone Idea’s board cleared the allotment of 430 crore warrants to Suryaja Investments. The issue size stands at ₹1,182 crore, with each warrant priced at ₹11. The transaction is aimed at strengthening the telecom operator’s capital base as it continues investments in network expansion and next-generation services.

Info Edge Details Startup Investments

Info Edge (India), in a letter addressed to shareholders, disclosed that it has invested ₹1,003 crore in 54 deep-tech and artificial intelligence ventures since 2020.

The company said total deployment across startups has reached ₹4,900 crore covering 135 companies. It added that its investment strategy continues to focus on businesses founded and based in India.

GHV Infra Wins Railway Project Contract

GHV Infra received a subcontract worth ₹213 crore from GHV India. The order involves engineering and composite works linked to a railway coaching complex project in West Bengal. The contract adds to the company’s infrastructure execution portfolio.

Electronics Mart India Expands Retail Presence

Electronics Mart India commenced operations at a new multi-brand consumer electronics outlet in Telangana. The opening forms part of the retailer’s expansion strategy in southern markets and adds to its store network.

Transrail Lighting Announces Management Change

Transrail Lighting said Raman Rajagopalan, Deputy Managing Director, has submitted his resignation from the company. His resignation will take effect from July 31, according to the company’s disclosure.

Apart from these developments, investors are likely to track fundraising activities, order inflows and management changes across sectors as companies continue to announce business updates ahead of the new quarter.
