Several stocks, including Reliance Industries, Paytm, Wipro, Axis Bank, and IndusInd Bank, are in the spotlight today, April 27, on account of Q4 FY26 results, regulatory news, and other corporate updates that were announced via bourses filings.

Q4 Results Announcements

The consolidated net profit of Reliance Industries in Q4 FY26 fell by 8.9% year-over-year (YoY) to ₹20,589 crore from ₹22,611 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. The revenue increased by 12.9% YoY to ₹3.25 lakh crore, while EBITDA witnessed a slight decrease of 0.3% to ₹48,588 crore. EBITDA margin contracted to 14.9% from 16.9%. The board recommended a dividend of ₹6 per share for FY26, according to exchange filings.

Jio Platforms posted a 13% YoY rise in profit to ₹7,935 crore, with revenue increasing 12.7% to ₹44,928 crore. EBITDA grew 17.9% to ₹20,060 crore, and margins expanded to 52.4%. Average revenue per user (ARPU) increased to ₹214, while the subscriber base rose 7.4% to 52.44 crore.

Axis Bank reported a 0.6% YoY decline in standalone net profit to ₹7,071.3 crore. Net interest income (NII) rose 4.7% to ₹14,457.2 crore, while provisions increased 159.1% to ₹3,522.2 crore. Gross non-performing assets (GNPA) declined to 1.23% and net NPA to 0.37% on a quarter-on-quarter basis.

IndusInd Bank reported a standalone profit of ₹532.71 crore for Q4 FY26, compared with a loss of ₹2,236 crore a year earlier. NII increased 43.4% to ₹4,371.5 crore, while provisions declined 38.6% to ₹1,484.3 crore. GNPA stood at 3.43% and net NPA at 1%.

Other companies including L&T Finance, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, IDFC First Bank, Lodha Developers, and Tanla Platforms also reported earnings with growth in profit and income, based on filings.

Key Corporate Developments

One 97 Communications (Paytm) said the Reserve Bank of India cancelled the banking licence of Paytm Payments Bank effective April 24. The company’s board approved the initiation of winding-up procedures for the entity, according to regulatory disclosures.

Wipro announced a partnership with Kongsberg Digital to deploy AI-powered digital twin solutions for the energy and utilities sector.

Indian Hume Pipe Company received a Letter of Intent worth ₹417.97 crore from the Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation for an irrigation project.

JK Cement was declared the preferred bidder for a limestone mining lease in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, covering 6.90 hectares.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals received final approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for Fingolimod capsules, used to treat multiple sclerosis, as per company filings.

Bulk Deals And Investments

SBI Funds Management acquired 13 lakh shares in ADF Foods at ₹259.98 per share and 9 lakh shares at ₹260 per share, amounting to a 2% stake worth ₹57.19 crore.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund purchased 4 lakh shares in Pfizer worth ₹188 crore, while Goldman Sachs Funds sold 4.26 lakh shares worth ₹200.25 crore, according to exchange data.

BlackRock-managed iShares Global Water UCITS ETF bought 4.92 lakh shares in VA Tech Wabag for ₹73.47 crore.

Other Stocks In Focus

Balrampur Chini Mills approved an investment of up to ₹160 crore to set up a lactogypsum processing plant in Uttar Pradesh. Supreme Power Equipment secured domestic orders worth ₹128 crore, taking its total order book to ₹577.72 crore including its subsidiary.

Tega Industries said its Chief Financial Officer will step down effective May 5, while UPL announced an additional investment of $86.7 million (₹ approx. equivalent not disclosed) in Sinova Inovações Agrícolas SA to increase its stake.

There are a number of companies such as Coal India Limited, UltraTech Cement, Varun Beverages, and Phoenix Mills that are expected to declare their results for the quarter ending April 27.
