Several listed companies, including Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Ola Electric Mobility, JSW Cement, DOMS Industries and Afcons Infrastructure, are scheduled to report their financial performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, on Monday, May 18.

The earnings announcements come after benchmark equity indices ended lower in the previous session amid profit booking, rising crude oil prices and continued pressure on the rupee. On May 15, the BSE Sensex declined 161 points, or 0.21%, to close at 75,237.99, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 46 points, or 0.19%, to settle at 23,643.50.

Indian Oil Q4 Expectations

Brokerage estimates indicate that Indian Oil Corporation could report pressure on refining and marketing margins due to elevated crude oil prices and currency weakness during the quarter.

Kotak Institutional Equities said adjusted EBITDA may decline 22% sequentially, although it could still register a 5.6% rise on a year-on-year basis. The brokerage noted that higher crude prices seen in March are expected to have a larger impact in Q1FY27.

The firm also highlighted that LPG under-recoveries are likely to widen despite lower sales volumes because of increased fuel costs. Marketing losses on refinery output and third-party fuel procurement are also expected to remain elevated.

Motilal Oswal Financial Services projected Indian Oil’s refinery throughput at 19.3 million metric tonnes for the quarter, reflecting a 4% year-on-year increase. The brokerage estimated gross refining margins (GRMs) at $19 per barrel and gross marketing margins at ₹2 per litre.

According to the brokerage, weak petrochemical spreads may continue to weigh on earnings from the petrochemicals segment.

The firm further estimated domestic LPG losses at around ₹3,700 crore during Q4FY26, compared with ₹960 crore in the previous quarter. It also projected inventory gains of nearly $4 per barrel in both refining and marketing operations.

Ola Electric In Focus

Ola Electric Mobility is also expected to remain in focus as investors assess the company’s operational performance and cost-control measures.

Kotak Institutional Equities expects Ola Electric’s revenue to decline 51% year-on-year due to a sharp fall in vehicle volumes. However, average selling prices are estimated to rise 8% on account of higher production-linked incentive accruals and increased contribution from motorcycles.

The brokerage projected an EBITDA loss of ₹220 crore for the March quarter, compared with a loss of ₹690 crore in the corresponding period last year. The narrower loss is expected to be supported by lower provisions, operating cost rationalisation and a higher contribution from the Gen-3 platform.

Other Companies Reporting Results

Apart from IOC and Ola Electric, companies such as GE Vernova TD India, Indraprastha Gas, Timken India, Triveni Turbine, Zydus Wellness, Strides Pharma Science, Puravankara, VRL Logistics and Ajax Engineering are also scheduled to declare their Q4FY26 earnings on Monday.

Smaller and mid-sized firms across sectors including chemicals, engineering, textiles, logistics, healthcare and retail are also expected to release quarterly numbers during the day as the earnings season enters its sixth week.
