Buying was concentrated in a handful of stocks on July 27, lifting DCB Bank share price, Surana Solar share price and Srinibas Pradhan Constructions share price even as the broader market lacked major triggers. The gains were accompanied by the stocks trading above important moving averages, a sign that buying interest remained intact during the session.

The day’s trade was largely stock-driven rather than market-wide. While a few counters attracted fresh buying, others continued to face pressure after slipping below key technical levels.

Stocks That Recorded Strong Momentum

Surana Solar rose 9.92% to ₹29.13. The stock closed above its 30-day SMA of ₹26.50, 50-day SMA of ₹26.60, 150-day SMA of ₹25.31 and 200-day SMA of ₹26.62.

Srinibas Pradhan Constructions gained 8.26% to ₹146.50. It remained above its 30-day SMA of ₹135.32 and 50-day SMA of ₹134.89 throughout the session.

DCB Bank share price advanced 6.36% to ₹198.75. The stock traded above its 30-day SMA of ₹186.87, 50-day SMA of ₹183.25, 150-day SMA of ₹182.41 and 200-day SMA of ₹177.18.

The positioning above these moving averages kept all three counters among the day’s prominent momentum stocks.

Stocks That Closed Lower

Moschip Technologies ended 4.93% lower at ₹213.20. The stock stayed below its 30-day SMA of ₹224.26 and 50-day SMA of ₹218.38, although it continued to trade above its 150-day SMA of ₹200.23 and 200-day SMA of ₹209.56.

Teerth Gopicon declined 3.90% to ₹18.75. It remained below its 30-day, 50-day, 150-day and 200-day moving averages during the session.

Avalon Technologies slipped 3.14% to ₹1,685.50. The stock traded below its 30-day SMA of ₹1,740.08 but continued to remain above its 50-day SMA of ₹1,638.57, 150-day SMA of ₹1,198.37 and 200-day SMA of ₹1,163.98.

Other Stocks In Focus

Several stocks also climbed to fresh 52-week highs during the session. The list included IDFC First Bank share price, Dr Lal PathLabs, Laurus Labs, United Spirits, Lenskart Solutions, Lloyds Metals, Manappuram Finance,

Federal Bank and Gujarat Fluoro.

Gallantt Ispat, Global Surfaces and E2E Networks hit their upper circuit limits, reflecting strong buying interest.

Trading on July 27 remained selective, with gains concentrated in a limited number of counters. Stocks that held above key moving averages continued to attract attention, while others remained under pressure after failing to regain important technical levels.
