Quarterly Earnings Highlights
UPL reported a 52.2% year-on-year decline in consolidated profit at ₹396 crore for Q3, compared with ₹828 crore in the year-ago period, while revenue increased 12.5% to ₹12,269 crore from ₹10,907 crore. Tax expenses stood at ₹181 crore against a tax write-back of ₹499 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
PB Fintech posted a 165% year-on-year jump in consolidated profit at ₹189.4 crore versus ₹71.5 crore, while revenue rose 37.1% to ₹1,771.2 crore from ₹1,291.6 crore. The board approved a fundraise through qualified institutional placement.
Awfis Space Solutions reported a 42.7% increase in profit to ₹21.7 crore from ₹15.2 crore, with revenue growing 20.2% to ₹381.8 crore from ₹317.7 crore.
Thermax recorded an 80.3% rise in profit at ₹205 crore versus ₹113.7 crore, while revenue increased 4.2% to ₹2,634.7 crore. Exceptional gains stood at ₹58.75 crore compared with nil in the year-ago period.
City Union Bank's profit rose 16.1% to ₹332.2 crore, while net interest income grew 27.8% to ₹751.2 crore. Gross non-performing assets declined to 2.17% from 2.42% quarter-on-quarter, and net NPA reduced to 0.78% from 0.90%.
Ather Energy reported a narrowing of losses to ₹84.6 crore from ₹197.8 crore, while revenue surged 50.2% to ₹953.6 crore.
Regulatory and Corporate Updates
Unichem Laboratories said the US Food and Drug Administration conducted an inspection at its Kolhapur API facility between January 27 and February 02. The inspection concluded with five procedural observations, none related to data integrity, and the company will respond within 15 days.
IRB Infrastructure Developers transferred its 100% equity stake in VM7 Expressway (Gandeva–Ena HAM project) to the IRB InvIT Fund for ₹513 crore. After the transfer, the consolidated debt is expected to decrease by approximately ₹700 crore.
Brigade Hotel Ventures entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Tamil Nadu to invest ₹1,100 crore in Chennai, which will add more than 500 hotel keys in three properties.

Clean Science and Technology saw Amansa Holdings acquire 11.79 lakh shares, representing a 1.1% stake, at ₹791.84 per share for ₹93.39 crore. Amansa held a 1.26% stake as of December 2025.
Royal Alpha Opportunity Fund and Vorton Opportunities Fund purchased shares in Jinkushal Industries worth ₹1.36 crore and ₹2.72 crore, respectively.
Lloyds Enterprises acquired an additional 75 lakh shares, equivalent to a 1.88% stake, in India Homes at ₹13.3 per share for ₹9.97 crore, while M K Banka (HUF) sold 74.74 lakh shares at the same price.
