Several companies reported business developments before the market opens on August 21, ranging from fresh orders and management changes to stake sales and acquisitions. Here are the stocks that could remain in focus.
Amagi Media Labs
Trudy Holdings, AVP I Fund and Accel are likely to sell a combined 5% stake in Amagi Media Labs through a block deal, CNBC-TV18 reported, citing sources. The proposed transaction is estimated at around ₹600 crore, with a floor price of ₹550 per share.
Saatvik Green Energy
Saatvik Solar Industries, a subsidiary of Saatvik Green Energy, has secured an order valued at ₹190 crore from an independent power producer/EPC company for the supply of solar photovoltaic modules.
Torrent Power
Saurabh Mashruwala will step down as Chief Financial Officer and Whole-Time Key Managerial Personnel of Torrent Power from August 20, 2026, following his planned retirement. The board has appointed Vikas Poddar as CFO, Whole-Time Key Managerial Personnel and Senior Management Personnel with effect from August 21.
Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences
Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences has entered into a five-year Operations and Management Agreement with Aurevia Hospitals to manage and operate Arete Hospitals. The arrangement can be extended by another five years. KIMS has also entered into a call option agreement that provides an option to acquire the business, subject to future definitive terms.
RailTel Corporation
RailTel Corporation has received a ₹164.78 crore order from Western Coalfields for setting up an MPLS VPN network on a rental basis. The contract has a tenure of 60 months.
The RailTel Corporation share price may be tracked alongside the order announcement after the company recently secured other infrastructure contracts.
Lemon Tree Hotels
Lemon Tree Hotels has opened an 85-room property in Bharuch, Gujarat. The hotel is operated by its subsidiary Carnation Hotels and becomes the group’s 12th operational property in the state.
Rallis India
Bhaskar Swaminathan will resign as CFO of Rallis India on November 4, 2026, to join another Tata Group company. Sridhar Radhakrishnan has been named his successor from the same date.
InterGlobe Aviation
IndiGo held a 67.4% share of India’s domestic aviation market in July, carrying 80.82 lakh passengers during the month.
Hindustan Aeronautics
Infotech HAL, a 50:50 joint venture between Hindustan Aeronautics and its partner, has been dissolved following an order from the NCLT, Bengaluru.
Bulk And Block Deals
General Atlantic Singapore Fund sold 1.51 crore shares, or 8.75% of KFin Technologies, for ₹1,400 crore at ₹925 per share. The shares were bought by 12 domestic and global investors.
Quant Mutual Fund increased its holding in Pfizer by purchasing 2.67 lakh shares for ₹131.25 crore at ₹4,899.97 each.
Pari Washington India Master Fund bought a 2.02% stake in Amrutanjan Health Care for ₹29.17 crore. DSP Mutual Fund and Envision India Fund were among the sellers.
Motilal Oswal Financial Services acquired 2.98 lakh shares of Credent Connect N Care for ₹11.15 crore, while OM Trading bought one lakh shares for ₹3.59 crore.
Other notable transactions included purchases in Nxt-Infra Trust by Kotak Mahindra Bank and Larsen & Toubro, with each acquiring 95.5 lakh units for ₹89.62 crore.
Stocks under the F&O ban include Bandhan Bank, Manappuram Finance and SAIL.
