Hero MotoCorp is likely to remain in focus after its board approved an additional investment of up to ₹1,000 crore in Ather Energy. The company held a 29.48% stake in the electric two-wheeler maker before the proposed investment/

The development comes as the two companies continue to remain closely linked through Hero MotoCorp’s existing investment in Ather Energy.

Biocon Sees ₹3,678.68 Crore Block Deal

Biocon witnessed a significant block transaction after Mylan sold its entire holding of 9.19 crore shares, representing a 5.64% stake, at ₹400 per share. The transaction was valued at ₹3,678.68 crore.

The shares were bought by a group of domestic and global institutional investors, including mutual funds, insurance companies and investment firms.

Delhivery Financial Services Gets RBI Approval

Delhivery said the Reserve Bank of India has approved its wholly owned subsidiary Delhivery Financial Services’ application for a Certificate of Registration as a Type II NBFC-ND.

The approval remains subject to the submission of certain documents to the RBI’s satisfaction.

SG Mart Sees Institutional Buying And Selling

SG Mart also featured in large share transactions. Public Sector Pension Investment Board purchased 10 lakh shares, or 0.79% of the company, at ₹649.98 per share for ₹64.99 crore.

Abu Dhabi Investment Authority bought 11.23 lakh shares, representing a 0.89% stake, at ₹650 per share for ₹72.99 crore. On the other side, HR Global Manufacturing sold 22 lakh shares, or 1.74% of SG Mart, at ₹650.02 per share in a deal worth ₹143 crore.

Other Stocks In Focus

Belrise Industries launched its QIP on 14 July with a floor price of ₹230.79 per share. The company may offer a discount of up to 5% to the floor price.

Kirloskar Brothers’ UK subsidiary, SPP Pumps, secured a £11.7 million order from Saipem Offshore Construction SPA for vertical pumps and spares. The order is valued at ₹149.59 crore.

PDS entered into a strategic partnership with Indonesia’s Busana Apparel Group to strengthen its manufacturing network. Easy Trip Planners signed an MoU with the Department of Tourism, Government of Jharkhand, to promote the state’s tourism offerings through digital initiatives.

IOL Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals received approval from China’s Centre for Drug Evaluation under the National Medical Products Administration for its Clopidogrel Bisulfate API. The company already holds a valid Certificate of Suitability for the product.

Jain Resource Recycling reported a furnace explosion at its Tiruvallur plant in Tamil Nadu on 14 July. One labourer died in the incident, while several others were injured and taken to nearby hospitals.

Jammu and Kashmir Bank plans to sell 1.02 crore shares, or 0.50% of PNB MetLife India Insurance Company’s paid-up capital, to MetLife International Holdings at ₹117.20 per share. The transaction is valued at ₹120.1 crore.

Other Market Actions

Kusumgar is scheduled to list on the mainboard. Tata Consultancy Services, Automobile Corporation of Goa, Bharat Bijlee, Heritage Foods, KFin Technologies and Saint-Gobain Sekurit India will trade ex-dividend.

Energy Infrastructure Trust will trade ex-date for income distribution, while Orbit Exports and Radiowalla Network will trade ex-date for buyback. Kaynes Technology India is also scheduled for an ex-date corporate action.
