The Indian stock market ended higher on April 29. The Nifty 50 gained 0.7% to close at 24,164, while the Sensex rose 0.82% to settle at 77,520.

Companies Announcing Q4 Results

Shares of Hindustan Unilever, Adani Enterprises, Indus Towers, Bajaj Finserv, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders and IDBI Bank will remain in focus as the companies are scheduled to announce their March quarter results on April 30.

Bajaj Finance

Bajaj Finance reported a 22% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹5,465 crore for the March quarter, compared to ₹4,480 crore in the year-ago period.

The company remains among the key stocks in focus after reporting its quarterly earnings on April 29.

Adani Power

Adani Power posted a 52% year-on-year increase in net profit at ₹4,017 crore for the fourth quarter, compared to ₹2,637 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Larsen & Toubro

Larsen & Toubro said it has entered into a share purchase agreement with Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited to divest its entire stake in L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited. The transaction value stands at ₹1,461.47 crore, according to the company’s exchange filing.

Adani Green Energy

Adani Green Energy said it plans to add up to 15,000 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of battery energy storage capacity annually. The expansion plan is expected to involve investments worth several thousand crore rupees.

Motilal Oswal Financial Services

Motilal Oswal Financial Services reported a consolidated net loss of ₹221 crore in the March quarter, compared to a loss of ₹65 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue from operations increased 125% year-on-year during the quarter.

Navin Fluorine International

Navin Fluorine International reported a net profit of ₹213 crore for the fourth quarter, more than double the ₹95 crore reported in the corresponding period last year.

IIFL Finance

IIFL Finance posted a net profit of ₹586.8 crore for the March quarter, compared to ₹207.7 crore in the year-ago period.

Brigade Enterprises

Brigade Enterprises announced a 50:50 joint venture with Bain Capital to develop a mixed-use premium real estate project in Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Jana Small Finance Bank

Jana Small Finance Bank reported a 13.3% year-on-year increase in fourth-quarter net profit to ₹140 crore, compared to ₹123 crore in the same quarter last year.
