Several stocks are expected to remain on investors’ radar on Thursday after companies announced significant developments, including an IPO launch, production updates, fundraising approvals, business expansion plans and quarterly operational performance.

SBI, Tata Steel Lead Key Corporate Announcements

State Bank of India: SBI will be in focus after SBI Funds Management filed its red herring prospectus for its IPO. The public issue is entirely an offer for sale of up to 20.37 crore shares, with SBI selling a 6.30% stake and Amundi India Holding divesting 3.70%. The IPO will open on July 14 and close on July 16.

Tata Steel: The Tata Steel stock price is likely to stay volatile on account of the 11% increase in crude steel output from India by the firm to 5.82 million tonnes in the first quarter of FY27. Deliveries went up 9% to 5.17 million tonnes, whereas Tata Tiscon and Tata Steelium saw a 33% and 41% jump in their volumes.

Indian Bank: The shareholders have voted in favor of a proposal to raise up to ₹5,000 crore via any/either of the equity offerings, such as Qualified Institutional Placements (QIP), FPO, or rights issue.

Companies Announce Expansion and Business Updates

HFCL: HFCL introduced its OptiQ AI brand, bringing its optical connectivity products for AI, cloud and hyperscale data centres under a single platform. The portfolio includes optical fibre cables, assemblies, patch cords and related infrastructure products.

Phoenix Mills: The company reported a 32% YoY increase in retail consumption to ₹4,727 crore during the first quarter of FY27. Office occupancy improved to 72% from 70% in March, while residential sales stood at ₹64 crore and collections reached ₹51 crore.

SML Mahindra: The company reported commercial vehicle sales of 1,896 units in June, up 4.9% from a year earlier. Production rose 2.7% to 1,587 units, while exports declined to 34 units from 64 units.

Other Stocks in Focus

NALCO and NLC India: The two public sector companies signed a joint venture agreement to establish a 1,080 MW captive thermal power plant at Angul, Odisha. The project will support NALCO’s aluminium smelter expansion.

IRB Infrastructure: Toll collections increased 28% YoY to ₹808 crore in June, compared with ₹631 crore in the corresponding month last year.

TVS Motor Company: TVS Motor Company partnered with Indian Oil Corporation to deploy TVS King Kargo HD vehicles for last-mile LPG cylinder deliveries across IndianOil’s distributor network.

JSW Energy: The corporation has signed contracts for a renewable energy capacity of 1,081 MW since April 2026, which brings its total renewable energy capacity to 14,535 MW. The corporation currently has 61% of renewable sources in its portfolio, and the corporation is still on target to develop a capacity of 3 GW of renewable energy capacity in FY27.
