Vodafone Idea Narrows Loss
Vodafone Idea’s consolidated loss narrowed to ₹3,754 crore in Q1 from ₹6,608 crore a year earlier. Revenue increased 6% to ₹11,689 crore from ₹11,023 crore, while EBITDA rose 9.2% to ₹5,034 crore. The EBITDA margin improved to 43.1% from 41.8%. The company also reported exceptional gains of ₹1,611 crore during the quarter.
PC Jeweller reported a 37.2% increase in consolidated profit to ₹222.2 crore from ₹161.9 crore. Revenue climbed 21% to ₹877 crore from ₹724.9 crore.
Kolte-Patil Developers moved to a consolidated profit of ₹146.3 crore in Q1, compared with a loss of ₹17 crore in the year-ago quarter. Revenue increased nearly 11-fold to ₹919.5 crore from ₹82.4 crore.
Pharma And Metals Companies Report Strong Growth
Gland Pharma’s consolidated profit rose 47.1% to ₹317 crore from ₹215.5 crore. Revenue increased 19.6% to ₹1,800.3 crore from ₹1,505.6 crore.
Lloyds Metals and Energy reported a 165% jump in consolidated profit to ₹1,726.6 crore from ₹651.9 crore. Revenue surged 209% to ₹7,354.4 crore from ₹2,383.5 crore.
Lumax Auto Technologies posted a 109.2% rise in profit to ₹86.6 crore, while revenue grew 32.9% to ₹1,363.6 crore. The company also announced plans to establish a new manufacturing facility for its Intelligent Ambient Comfort division at Chakan, Maharashtra.
The Lumax Auto Technologies share price may remain in focus following the results and the manufacturing expansion announcement.
Bosch, KEC International See Profit Declines
KEC International’s consolidated profit fell 41.7% to ₹72.6 crore from ₹124.6 crore, while revenue was broadly unchanged at ₹5,023.5 crore.
Bosch reported a 36.8% decline in consolidated profit to ₹704.9 crore from ₹1,115.3 crore despite a 22% increase in revenue to ₹5,841.9 crore. The year-ago period included an exceptional gain of ₹556 crore, while no exceptional item was reported in the latest quarter.
CMS Info Systems’ profit declined 10.6% to ₹83.7 crore, with revenue rising 1.2% to ₹634.7 crore. Jubilant Pharmova reported a 45.1% fall in profit to ₹56.5 crore despite revenue growth of 17.3% to ₹2,229.4 crore.
Infrastructure And Auto Updates
Dilip Buildcon’s profit dropped 50.7% to ₹113 crore, while revenue declined 9.3% to ₹2,377.8 crore. Precision Wires India reported a 71.5% increase in profit to ₹46.5 crore and a 59.5% rise in revenue to ₹1,779.2 crore.
Mahindra & Mahindra’s July production increased 20.4% year-on-year to 1,01,954 units, while sales rose 24.8% to 1,02,710 units. Exports increased 47.4% to 4,159 units.
IRB Infrastructure Developers reported a 26% increase in July toll revenue to ₹797.7 crore from ₹632.9 crore. The figures provide the latest operating update from the infrastructure developer ahead of its broader financial performance.
