Q4 Earnings To Drive Action

Shares of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Hindalco Industries, Eicher Motors, Torrent Pharmaceuticals and NTPC Green Energy may remain active as the companies are scheduled to announce their March quarter results later in the day.

Market participants will also track management commentary on demand trends, margins and capital expenditure plans during the earnings season.

ITC Reports Higher Q4 Profit

ITC Ltd. posted a 5% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the March quarter. The company reported a profit of ₹5,113 crore for Q4FY26 compared with ₹4,875 crore in the same quarter last year. Investors will monitor segment-wise performance across cigarettes, FMCG, hotels and paperboards businesses.

Maruti Suzuki Announces Price Hike

Maruti Suzuki India said it will increase vehicle prices by up to ₹30,000 across its model range from June 2026.

The automaker attributed the hike to rising input costs and inflationary pressure. The revision will vary depending on the model and variant.

Nykaa Profit Jumps Sharply

FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd., which operates Nykaa, reported a sharp rise in quarterly earnings.

Consolidated net profit rose to ₹78.4 crore in Q4FY26 from ₹20.3 crore a year ago, supported by stronger revenue growth and margin expansion.

GAIL Profit Declines Sequentially

GAIL (India) Ltd. reported a 21.2% quarter-on-quarter decline in net profit for the March quarter. The state-run gas utility posted profit of ₹1,262.2 crore compared with ₹1,603 crore in the previous quarter.

Tata Steel Gets Relief In GST Case

Tata Steel said the Supreme Court has stayed further proceedings in a GST input tax credit matter involving a tax demand of ₹890.52 crore. The dispute relates to FY2018-19 through FY2020-21.

Honasa Consumer Earnings Improve

Honasa Consumer Ltd., the parent company of Mamaearth, reported a strong rise in March quarter earnings. Net profit increased 176% year-on-year to ₹69 crore compared with ₹25 crore in the same period last year.

LG Electronics India Posts Record Revenue

LG Electronics India reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue in Q4FY26. The company said growth was driven by premium product categories including large-screen televisions, fully automatic washing machines, French-door refrigerators and energy-efficient air conditioners.

Aurobindo Pharma Posts Stable Growth

Aurobindo Pharma reported a 2% increase in consolidated net profit for the March quarter. Net profit stood at ₹921 crore against ₹903 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.

Indian equity benchmarks ended marginally lower on May 21 amid profit booking in heavyweight stocks. The Sensex closed down 135 points at 75,183.36, while the Nifty 50 slipped 4 points to settle at 23,654.70.
