JSW Steel, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Adani Enterprises, SEPC, Muthoot Finance, Great Eastern Shipping Company, Welspun Enterprises, Sheela Foam and Voltas are likely to remain in focus on Thursday, 15 May, following quarterly earnings, bulk deals and fresh business developments.
Companies Reporting Earnings Today
Several companies are scheduled to announce their March quarter earnings on 15 May. These include Tata Steel, Power Grid Corporation of India, Aether Industries, Amber Enterprises India, Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Bajaj Electricals, Gland Pharma, Godfrey Phillips India, Godrej Industries, Hindustan Copper, ITC Hotels, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, NCC, NHPC, Premier Energies, Steel Authority of India and Symphony.
On 16 May, companies including Delhivery, Vodafone Idea, KEC International, Latent View Analytics, Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem, UNO Minda and Western Carriers (India) will release quarterly results.
Quarterly Earnings Announcements
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported a 31.7% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit at ₹5,783 crore for the March quarter, while revenue rose 7.2% to ₹1,05,447 crore.
JSW Steel posted consolidated profit of ₹16,370 crore for Q4FY26 against ₹1,503 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue increased 14.2% year-on-year to ₹51,180 crore. The company also reported an exceptional gain of ₹17,888 crore.
Muthoot Finance recorded a 104.7% rise in standalone net profit at ₹3,086.2 crore. Net interest income climbed 78.8% to ₹5,193.4 crore.
Voltas reported a 51.8% decline in consolidated profit to ₹116.2 crore, while revenue increased 2.4% to ₹4,843.5 crore.
Great Eastern Shipping Company posted consolidated net profit of ₹1,044.1 crore for the quarter, up 188% year-on-year. Revenue rose 23.6% to ₹1,511.4 crore.
Sheela Foam reported a seven-fold jump in consolidated profit to ₹91.3 crore, while revenue increased 23.6% to ₹1,050.1 crore.
Welspun Enterprises posted a 44.9% rise in consolidated net profit at ₹145.2 crore, with revenue growing 13.8% to ₹1,199.5 crore.
Stocks In Focus
HCL Technologies announced a strategic partnership with Red Hat to provide enterprise artificial intelligence infrastructure solutions for businesses.
SEPC said its joint venture with Furlong signed an EPC sub-contract with Shalimar Corp for a road expansion project in Uttar Pradesh. The company received a Letter of Award worth ₹521.46 crore for the project.
Bulk And Block Deals
Adani Enterprises saw a large block transaction after GQG Partners Emerging Markets Equity Fund sold 58.92 lakh shares, representing a 0.45% stake, to SBI Mutual Fund for ₹1,435.15 crore at ₹2,435.6 per share.
Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore acquired 26.75 lakh shares of Jio Financial Services from Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE-ODI for ₹61.9 crore through a block deal.
In Raghav Productivity Enhancers, the estate of late Rakesh Jhunjhunwala sold 6.17 lakh shares, equivalent to a 1.34% stake, for ₹46.59 crore.
Corporate Actions And F&O Ban
Several stocks including State Bank of India, Anand Rathi Wealth, Nuvama Wealth Management, Aptus Value Housing Finance India, Indian Energy Exchange and Kennametal India will trade ex-dividend on 15 May.
Knowledge Realty Trust, National Highways Infra Trust and Nexus Select Trust will trade ex-date for income distribution. Kaynes Technology India and SAIL remain under the F&O ban list for the session.
