Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles saw consolidated profit fall sharply in the first quarter of FY27, even as revenue increased, while several other companies reported stronger earnings compared with the year-ago period.
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported an 80.2% year-on-year decline in consolidated profit to ₹775 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹3,924 crore a year earlier.
Revenue increased 9.3% to ₹95,799 crore from ₹87,677 crore in Q1 FY26. The company also reported a forex loss of ₹150 crore during the quarter, compared with a forex gain of ₹523 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The earnings come as investors track the Tata Motors share price following the sharp movement in quarterly profit.
LG Electronics India
LG Electronics India reported a 27.2% year-on-year rise in profit to ₹652.9 crore for Q1 FY27 from ₹513.3 crore.
Revenue increased 15.5% to ₹7,233.4 crore from ₹6,262.9 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s quarterly performance will remain in focus for investors tracking the LG Electronics India share price after the earnings announcement.
Honasa Consumer
Honasa Consumer reported a 118.4% year-on-year increase in consolidated profit to ₹90.2 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹41.3 crore.
Revenue rose 27% to ₹755.9 crore compared with ₹595.3 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Welspun Living
Welspun Living posted an 83.6% increase in consolidated profit to ₹160.7 crore from ₹87.6 crore in Q1 FY26.
Revenue grew 23.7% year-on-year to ₹2,795.5 crore from ₹2,260.6 crore.
KRBL, Indigo Paints Post Higher Profit
KRBL reported a 73.2% increase in consolidated profit to ₹260.7 crore from ₹150.6 crore. Revenue, however, declined 5.6% to ₹1,495.9 crore from ₹1,584.4 crore.
Indigo Paints recorded a 61% year-on-year rise in consolidated profit to ₹41.7 crore from ₹25.9 crore. Revenue increased 19.7% to ₹369.7 crore from ₹308.9 crore.
The results place the Indigo Paints share price among the stocks to watch as the market assesses the company’s latest quarterly numbers.
Overall, the June-quarter results showed a mixed earnings picture, with higher revenue and profit reported by most companies in the set, while Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles recorded a significant contraction in consolidated profit.
