The stocks of Coal India, Bharat Electronics, Tata Power Company, Canara Bank, and Coforge will continue to be in the limelight for investors evaluating the recently released financial results of the companies.

Companies Scheduled to Announce Q1 Results
The companies slated to release their June quarter earnings include Coal India, Bharat Electronics, Tata Power Company, Tata Chemicals, Indus Towers, Canara Bank, Coforge, Balaji Amines, Capri Global Capital, Emkay Global Financial Services, Godfrey Phillips India, Gravita India, Happiest Minds Technologies, Home First Finance Company India, P N Gadgil Jewellers, and R R Kabel.
The earnings announcements come as market participants continue evaluating corporate performance across sectors, including power, banking, information technology, infrastructure, chemicals and manufacturing. In addition, updates on revenue growth, profitability and operational performance for the quarter ended June 2026 are anticipated from the results.
Major Companies That Reported Q1 Results
NTPC reported a standalone net profit of ₹5,342.4 crore for the June quarter, up 11.9% from ₹4,774.7 crore a year earlier. Revenue increased 3% to ₹43,831.9 crore.
Tata Consumer Products posted a 27.8% rise in consolidated profit to ₹427 crore, while revenue grew 11.9% to ₹5,348.9 crore. The company reported underlying volume growth of 13% in its India branded business, while its international business expanded 16%.
Jindal Steel reported a 43.6% decline in consolidated profit to ₹843.9 crore despite revenue rising 25.9% to ₹15,482.1 crore. The board also approved key leadership appointments, naming Vidya Rattan Sharma as Managing Director and Additional Director, Sandeep Modi as Chief Financial Officer and Rajiv Kumar as Chief Operating Officer.
REC reported a consolidated profit of ₹4,192.8 crore, down 6.1% year-on-year, while net interest income declined 3.6% to ₹5,453 crore. SBI Cards and Payment Services recorded a 19.5% increase in profit to ₹664.4 crore, although net interest income remained nearly unchanged at ₹1,676.1 crore.
Banking Sector Delivers Mixed Performance
Bank of Baroda reported a standalone profit of ₹1,278.4 crore, a decline of 71.9% from the previous year. The bank said it recognised a one-time exceptional loss of ₹5,680.2 crore after settling litigation related to the NMC Group through a payment of $600 million. Net interest income increased 9.5% to ₹12,525.1 crore, while gross and net NPA ratios rose sequentially.
Bank of India posted a 36.2% increase in profit to ₹3,067.9 crore, supported by higher net interest income and lower provisions. IDFC First Bank reported a 132.4% jump in standalone profit to ₹1,075 crore, with net interest income rising 21.1%. AU Small Finance Bank and DCB Bank also reported higher profits, although AU Small Finance Bank recorded a marginal increase in gross and net NPA ratios.
Other Corporate Updates
Lodha Developers more than doubled its consolidated profit to ₹1,372.1 crore as revenue increased 43.1%. Vedant Fashions reported a 14.7% rise in quarterly profit and approved the reappointment of Ravi Modi as Chairman and Managing Director for another five-year term effective August 28.
Zen Technologies reported a 40% decline in consolidated profit and a 10.5% fall in revenue. Alongside its financial results, the company announced the launch of its first High-Altitude Man-Portable Anti-Drone System designed for mountain warfare operations.
With another round of earnings due later in the day, investors will continue monitoring company-specific developments, management commentary and financial performance for cues on sectoral trends during the June quarter.
