Key Corporate Announcements
NTPC: The board approved the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) worth up to ₹12,000 crore in as many as 12 tranches. The company also commissioned 64.76 MW of the 225 MW Khavda Solar PV project, taking the NTPC Group’s total installed capacity to 91,030 MW.
Bank of Baroda: The lender approved the introduction of a U.S.$1 billion Green & ESG Bond sub-limit under its existing U.S.$4 billion Medium Term Note (MTN) programme. The board also doubled the bank’s overseas borrowing limit to U.S.$10 billion from U.S.$5 billion.
HDFC Bank: The private sector lender said it will redeem its outstanding U.S.$1 billion 3.7% Additional Tier-1 bonds in full on August 25, 2026, after exercising the call option.
Maruti Suzuki: The automaker launched the new Brezza Turbo Boosterjet, expanding its product portfolio in the sport utility vehicle segment.
NBCC: The state-owned company secured two project management consultancy (PMC) contracts worth ₹108.85 crore. The projects include construction of boys’ and girls’ hostels in Odisha valued at ₹88.43 crore and a Clean Plant Centre laboratory and office building at ICAR-CITH, Srinagar, worth ₹20.42 crore.
Indo Tech Transformers: The company received approval from NTPC for an order involving two 90 MVA, 400 kV transformers for battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
IDFC First Bank: The board approved an enabling resolution to raise up to ₹20,000 crore through a combination of equity and debt instruments. The bank also fixed August 7, 2026, as the record date to determine shareholders eligible for the final dividend for FY26.
Earnings To Be Tracked
Investors will also monitor quarterly earnings from several companies scheduled to announce their June quarter results today.
