Unihealth Consultancy Limited, founded in 2010, is a healthcare service provider based in Mumbai, India, with an operational presence in several African nations. Medical Centres, Hospitals, Consultancy Services, Pharmaceutical and Medical Consumable Product Distribution, and Medical Value Travel are among the business segments of Unihealth Consultancy. It has a total capacity of 200 operating hospital beds spread among two multi-specialty facilities: UMC Victoria Hospital in Kampala, Uganda, with 120 beds, and UMC Zhahir Hospital in Kano, Nigeria, with 80 beds. In addition, it runs the 'Unihealth Medical Centre,' a dialysis center in Mwanza, Tanzania.
The company intends to utilize the net proceeds from the issue towards the funding of the following objects: 1. Investment in the joint venture, Victoria Hospital Limited (VHL), Kampala, Uganda for funding its capital expenditure requirements for proposed expansion and working capital requirements of VHL. 2. Investment in the joint venture, UMC Global Health Limited (UMCGHL), Nigeria for funding its capital expenditure requirements for the proposed expansion. 3. Investment in the subsidiary, Biohealth Limited (BL), Tanzania for funding its capital expenditure requirements for the proposed expansion. 4. General corporate purposes.
