● Trading Frequency: During the previous three months, the scrip should've been exchanged on every market day. Extraordinary conditions, such as scrip suspension, may warrant an exception.

● Market Cap Weightage: The percentage of every stock's weighting in the S&P 500 index. Based on the free-float market cap during the previous three months, it must represent approximately 0.5% of the Index.

● Industry/Sector Depiction: When choosing a scrip, most often offer a true reflection of the BSE universe's listed enterprises.

● Track History: In the Index Committee's opinion, the business needs to have a respectable and solid reputation.

According to experts, the industry is seeing an increase in revenue due to recent cheap pricing, low lending rates, and sustained share market capital appreciation. 

Given the current recession, the downturn in the economy, and the high loan rates, businesses in the real estate market are experiencing a sales decline. Approval waits also impact new debuts.
