Petrol and diesel prices in India remained unchanged on Thursday, March 5, 2026, according to the latest daily price update by oil marketing companies (OMCs). Fuel rates in major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata, did not witness any revision in the morning update. In Delhi, petrol is priced at ₹96.72 per litre, while diesel costs ₹89.62 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol is selling at ₹106.31 per litre and diesel at ₹94.27 per litre.

Global crude oil prices surged on Thursday after escalating military tensions involving Iran heightened fears of supply disruptions in one of the world’s most critical oil transit regions.
