Fund Objective
SBI Mutual Fund’s SBI Magnum Global Direct Plan-Growth is an Equity mutual fund plan. Introduced on September 30, 1994, this scheme is now overseen by R. Srinivasan & Mohit Jain, who serve as their fund managers. The portfolio has a 73.48% allocation to domestic equities, with 35.29% allocated to large-cap stocks, 9.88% to mid-cap stocks, and 20.31% to small-cap stocks.
The objective of the SBI Magnum Global Fund is to offer investors the potential for long-term capital gain through the active management of assets in a diversified portfolio made up mostly of MNC firms. The fund must hold at least 80% of its assets in the equity of multinational corporations (MNC*).
The SBI Magnum Global Fund offers the option to invest up to 20% of its assets in non-MNC shares, debt, or money market instruments. The fund employs a bottom-up method of stock selection and can choose MNC-eligible firms from across industries and market sizes.
