RailTel Corporation of India share price climbed in morning trade after the company announced the new order, which includes taxes and extends the existing engagement with EPFO by one year. The contract is scheduled for completion by February 9, 2027.
At 9:18 am, RailTel Corporation of India was trading at ₹295 on the BSE, up ₹17.85, or 6.44%, from its previous close. The RailTel share price had ended the previous session at ₹277.15, down 0.98%.
Order Covers Infrastructure Services
The ₹166.80 crore order relates to the continuation of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) services being provided by RailTel to EPFO.
The latest contract adds to the company’s recent order wins. On August 12, RailTel received a separate work order worth ₹63 crore from the Deendayal Port Authority, excluding taxes.
The company has been securing contracts across government and public-sector organisations, with the latest EPFO order extending an existing service arrangement rather than representing a new engagement.

The company reported net profit of ₹66 crore for the quarter, largely unchanged from the year-ago period. Revenue from operations rose 20.1% to ₹893.2 crore from ₹743.8 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The June-quarter numbers were released against the backdrop of continued order activity, including contracts from government-linked organisations.
