The fund house purchased 8.33 lakh shares at ₹1,080 apiece, taking the deal value to ₹89.99 crore.
On the selling side, investor Gian Parkash Aggarwal offloaded 15.5 lakh shares, equivalent to around 2.7% of the company.
Those shares were sold at an average price of ₹1,080.04, putting the value of that transaction at approximately ₹167.4 crore.
The mutual fund acquisition was therefore part of a broader block of institutional trading in Innova Captab shares.
Innova Captab operates in the pharmaceutical sector and provides manufacturing and related services across pharmaceutical products.
For SBI Mutual Fund, the deal is one of several sizeable equity transactions disclosed around the end of September. The fund house separately increased its stake in Swiggy beyond the 5% mark through purchases valued at around ₹300 crore.
