Aastha Spintex Shares Rise 9% as Stock Adjusts for 1:1 Bonus Issue

Aastha Spintex shares climbed as much as 9% on Monday, September 28, as the stock began trading at a price adjusted for the company’s 1:1 bonus issue.
At around 2:15 pm, the stock was trading at ₹39.66 on the NSE, up 9.08% for the day.
The company had announced the bonus issue on September 16, with September 28 fixed as the record date.
One Bonus Share for Every Share Held
The 1:1 bonus offer means that every eligible shareholder will get one more share for each one share they own.
The criterion for getting bonus shares is that the investors should hold shares of Aastha Spintex in their demat accounts as per the closing of the stock market on Friday. The investors who buy the stock on Monday cannot participate in the bonus offer.
Since the adjustment is in place, the share started trading on an ex-bonus basis from September 28.
Aastha Spintex Made Its Market Debut in July
Aastha Spintex entered the stock market in July 2026. The shares were listed on the NSE at ₹130 apiece, a 4.41% discount to the IPO price.
The ₹170 crore public issue had been offered at a price band of ₹125 to ₹136 per share. It was open for subscription from June 29 to July 1 and received bids equivalent to 4.64 times the shares on offer.
What Aastha Spintex Does
Aastha Spintex manufactures and trades cotton yarn, including carded, combed and compact combed varieties. Its business also includes cotton bales and related by-products.
The company operates an integrated spinning and ginning facility at Halvad in Gujarat’s Morbi district.
