IIFL Finance Allots ₹130 Crore Secured NCDs at 9.25% Coupon
Last Updated: 21st September 2026 - 02:19 pm
IIFL Finance has allotted ₹130 crore NCDs or non-convertible debentures through private placement, where the instruments come with a coupon rate of 9.25% annually.
Allotment has been sanctioned by the Finance Committee of the board on September 21, which includes 13,000 debentures with ₹1 lakh as face value each. It is issued in series D37 Reissue I, being secured, listed, rated and redeemable.
These debentures come with a tenure of two years from deemed date of allotment and would mature on September 1, 2028. These would be listed by IIFL Finance on the National Stock Exchange.
Interest would be paid on September 2, 2027 and September 1, 2028, while the principal amount would be repaid on September 1, 2028, being redeemable with ₹1 lakh each.
What secures the NCDs?
The issue is backed by a first-ranking pari passu charge over specified assets of IIFL Finance.
These include current, standard and performing book debts, loans and advances, along with eligible current assets and receivables generated from gold loans, MSME and business loans, real estate loans, capital market loans and loans against property.
The security extends to eligible receivables already on the company’s books as well as those created during the life of the debentures. Receivables already exclusively charged to existing charge holders are excluded.
The required security cover has to be maintained throughout the tenor of the NCDs.
The terms also provide for additional interest in the event of a default, including a delay in coupon payment or redemption of the principal on the due date. In such circumstances, an additional 2% per annum would apply over the regular coupon rate, in accordance with the conditions set out in the filing.
