Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund has opened the new fund offer for its Multi Asset Omni Fund of Funds, expanding its product range with a portfolio designed to invest through other mutual fund schemes across multiple asset classes.
The Motilal Oswal Multi Asset Omni Fund of Funds NFO opened on October 21 and will close on November 4, 2026. The scheme's allotment date is scheduled for November 11, with reopening for continuous transactions listed for November 17.
The open-ended fund of funds will invest in equity-oriented schemes, debt-oriented schemes and Gold and Silver ETFs. Between 95% and 100% of its assets can be held through units of these underlying schemes, according to the AMC's scheme information.
Individual allocations to equity, debt, gold and silver-oriented schemes, including ETFs and index funds, can range between 10% and 80% for each asset class.
The scheme's benchmark combines four components: 60% Nifty 500 TRI, 30% Nifty Short Duration Debt Index, 5% domestic gold prices and 5% domestic silver prices.
The minimum application amount during the NFO and on a continuous basis is ₹500, followed by multiples of ₹1.
An exit load of 1% will apply if units are redeemed on or before 90 days from the date of allotment. Redemptions after 90 days will not attract an exit load.
Rather than buying individual securities directly across all asset classes, the fund will primarily allocate money to underlying mutual fund schemes and ETFs. This means investors in the fund of funds will also indirectly bear expenses charged by the underlying schemes, in addition to expenses applicable at the fund-of-funds level.
The investment objective is to seek long-term capital appreciation through diversified exposure to active and passive equity schemes, debt-oriented schemes and precious-metal ETFs. As with other market-linked mutual fund products, the objective does not assure a specific return.
