MV Electrosystems Share Price Extends Gains for Third Session, Rises 5% Today: What's Fuelling the Rally?

MV Electrosystems shares climbed for a third consecutive session on Wednesday, 9 September, gaining as much as 5.07% on the NSE to an intraday high of ₹930. The stock opened at ₹887.85, against Tuesday's close of ₹883.25.
The move ran counter to the wider market, which opened lower for another session. The BSE Sensex lost 456.78 points, or 0.60%, to 75,120.80, and the NSE Nifty 50 gave up 119.65 points, or 0.51%, to 23,515.45.
What set off the buying
The interest of investors in the stock was triggered on Monday when the corporation announced that the 17th Annual General Meeting would take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
The meeting’s agenda would include the adoption of the audited accounts for FY26 and the acceptance of the appointments of Mohit Vohra and Sumit Dhawan as directors.
The FY26 numbers themselves were weaker than the year before. According to the annual report, sales and other income amounted to ₹49.80 crore, compared to ₹64.64 crore in the previous fiscal year, while the company incurred a loss of ₹12.63 crore, compared to a profit of ₹1.40 crore.
In the report, it is also clear that the organization has outlined its strategy for sustainable development through enhancing its core strengths, increasing operational efficiency and exploring new opportunities for business. Innovation, customer satisfaction and financial prudence are mentioned as the key factors which will help the organization benefit from the opportunities available in the market. The board also shows its confidence regarding the future performance of the organization.
A steep run since listing
The recently listed stock has been on a sharp upward trajectory. Its shares have risen more than 50% over the past month and have already doubled from the debut price. Over the last two weeks the gain exceeds 63%, and over the last seven days it is above 35%.
