Trading volumes rise sharply

The price action in Tata Teleservices stocks was driven by high volumes of trades conducted.

According to the report, the surge in the volumes traded was driven by technical and momentum factors rather than any new fundamental change that the company experienced. The volumes were at a level of about 15 times their one-month average.
