Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Coal India Limited, is engaged in producing coking coal, non-coking coal and washed coal. As of September 30, 2025, it operated 34 mines across Jharkhand and West Bengal. BCCL primarily supplies coking coal to steel and power sectors and held coking coal reserves of about 7,910 million tonnes, contributing 58.50% of India’s domestic output in FY25.
