Strengths

1. Established alternative asset management platform: More than 17 years of experience managing alternative investment strategies, particularly real assets and private credit.

2. Large assets under management: AUM stood at ₹95,344.88 crore as of 30 June 2026, providing an established platform for investment management and advisory services.

3. Diversified investment strategies: Operations across real assets and private credit provide exposure to different financing requirements and investment opportunities.

4. Repeat investor relationships: Repeat clients represented approximately 77% of AUM commitments as of June 2026.

5. Growing financial performance: Revenue increased from ₹492.58 crore in FY24 to ₹869.54 crore in FY26, while PAT increased to ₹265.20 crore.

Weaknesses

1. Dependence on investment performance: Fundraising, fee income and investor retention are influenced by the performance of managed investment funds.

2. Variable additional return recognition: The recognition of performance-linked income before actual cash collection creates potential differences between reported profitability and operating cash flows.

3. Investor concentration: Dependence on large institutional clients creates exposure to changes in their investment commitments and withdrawal decisions.

4. Exposure to illiquid assets: Investments in real assets and private credit may have longer holding periods and limited secondary-market liquidity.

5. Historical negative operating cash flows: Operating cash flows were negative in FY24 and FY25 before turning positive in FY26.

Opportunities

1. Growth in alternative investment funds: Increasing institutional and private investor participation in alternative assets could support demand for specialised investment management platforms.

2. Infrastructure financing opportunities: The real assets business can participate in financing requirements associated with Indian infrastructure and operating assets.

3. Expansion of private credit: Demand for structured financing solutions outside traditional bank lending could create opportunities for the company's private credit strategies.

4. Additional investment strategies: Experience across real assets and private credit provides scope to launch new funds and investment products.

5. Increasing domestic investor participation: Growing participation from family offices, HNIs and UHNIs could support diversification of the investor base.

Threats

1. Regulatory changes: Amendments to SEBI regulations governing alternative investment funds, portfolio management and investment activities could increase compliance requirements.

2. Interest rate movements: Changes in interest rates can affect financing costs, investment valuations and demand for private credit.

3. Credit and counterparty risks: Borrower defaults or deterioration in underlying asset quality could affect fund performance and investor returns.

4. Competition: Domestic and international alternative asset managers compete for investor commitments and investment opportunities.

5. Investment realisation delays: Longer investment holding periods or delayed exits could affect performance-linked income and cash-flow timing.

1. Established investment management business: The company has more than 17 years of experience managing alternative assets through real assets and private credit strategies.

2. Substantial managed asset base: As of June 2026, AUM stood at ₹95,344.88 crore, with fee-paying AUM of ₹48,623.18 crore.

3. Revenue and profitability growth: Revenue increased to ₹869.54 crore in FY26 from ₹492.58 crore in FY24, while PAT rose to ₹265.20 crore.

4. Long-standing investor relationships: The platform had 11,009 client relationships as of June 2026, including 1,493 repeat clients.

5. Exposure to alternative investment demand: Its investment strategies participate in financing and asset management opportunities across infrastructure, real assets and private credit.

India's alternative investment management industry has expanded alongside demand for investment strategies beyond conventional listed equity and fixed-income products. Alternative investment funds provide access to asset classes including private credit, infrastructure, real estate and other privately negotiated investments.

Institutional investors, family offices and high-net-worth individuals represent important sources of capital for alternative asset managers. Demand for long-duration financing, structured credit and operational infrastructure assets creates investment opportunities across the real assets and private credit segments.

EAAA India Alternatives operates within this market through a multi-strategy platform. As of 30 June 2026, the company's AUM stood at ₹95,344.88 crore, while fee-paying AUM reached ₹48,623.18 crore. Fee-paying AUM grew at a CAGR of approximately 23.43% over the three financial years ending FY26.

The company's growth opportunities are connected to its ability to raise additional fund commitments, deploy capital into suitable investments, maintain investment performance and realise returns from existing portfolios.

However, alternative investment activity remains sensitive to liquidity conditions, interest rates, credit quality, regulatory developments and the availability of investment exits.
