These Low-Priced stocks made a 52-week high on Thursday!
The frontline equity indices i.e, Sensex and Nifty 50 plunged even more with Sensex losing the 60,000 mark and Nifty trading at 17,800. The Sensex is trading at 59,526.06 down by 573.08 points and the Nifty was down by 154.50 points at 17,783.9 levels, respectively.
At 11.30 am on Thursday, the frontline equity indices i.e, Sensex and Nifty 50 plunged even more with Sensex losing the 60,000 mark and Nifty trading at 17,800. The Sensex is trading at 59,526.06 down by 573.08 points and the Nifty was down by 154.50 points at 17,783.9 levels, respectively.
The top five gainers of Nifty 50 were Power Grid Corporation, Hero Motocorp, Coal India, Tata Consumer Products, and UltraTech Cement. Whereas, the top five stocks pulling down the index are Bajaj Auto, HDFC Ltd, Infosys, Bajaj Finserv, and HCL Technologies.
BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 25,481.81 down by 0.34%. The top three gainers of the index include Cholamandalam Investment and Fin Co., Apollo hospitals, and Ashok Leyland. Each of these scrips was up by more than 2%. The top three stocks dragging the index include Oracle Financial Services, MRF, and Rajesh Exports.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at 30,533.91, down by 0.03%. The top three gainers are Just Dial, IFB Agro Industries, and Himadri Speciality Chemical. Each of these stocks gained more than 10%. Three stocks pulling the index down include PTC India Financial Services, Mastek, and Sterlite Technologies.
Barring BSE Power and BSE Utilities, all the sectoral indices were trading in the red with BSE IT and Teck, along with BSE Energy eroding all the gains and trading at a discount of more than 1%.
