At market close on Monday, the core equity indices ended higher owing to positive global cues. The Sensex was at 53,234.77, up by 326.84 points or 0.62% and the Nifty 50 closed at 15,835.35, up by 83.30 points or 0.53%.

The top trending stocks on the BSE were Havells India, Power Grid Corporation of India, ITC, Reliance Industries, Bajaj Electricals, and Jamna Auto Industries.

These stocks are likely to be in focus for Tuesday's trading session:

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited: The pharma giant, has informed that the US FDA has issued Form 483 with one observation after an inspection at the Company’s formulation manufacturing facility based out of Aurangabad, India between June 27, 2022, and July 1, 2022. As per the filing, the company is committed to undertaking all necessary steps required to address their observation at the earliest. The company is committed to maintaining the highest quality manufacturing standards at all of its facilities across the globe. The shares of the pharma company ended lower by 1.52%, on the BSE.

Hero Motocorp Limited: Hero Motocorp has reported a 3% increase in total sales at 4,84,867 units in June 2022. In the domestic market, sales rose to 4,63,210 units last month from 4,38,514 units in June. Exports last month stood at 21,657 units as against 30,646 units in the year-ago period. The shares of the company ended 0.04% higher, on the BSE.

TVS Motor Company Limited: The company registered a growth of 22% in June with sales of 308,501 units as against 251,886 units in June 2021. Total two-wheelers registered a growth of 23% with sales increasing from 238,092 units in June 2021 to 293,715 units in June 2022. Domestic two-wheeler registered a growth of 33% with sales increasing from 145,413 units in June 2021 to 193,090 units in June. Motorcycle registered sales of 146,075 units in June 2022 as against 146,874 units in June 2021. Scooter sales of the company grew from 53,956 units in June 2021 to 105,211 units in June 2022. The shares of the company ended 2.67% lower on the BSE.
