R.K. Fashion Accessories Limited is a Kolkata-based company engaged in the manufacturing of imitation jewellery through contract manufacturers and its wholesale distribution. The Company also trades in branded cosmetics. Its jewellery portfolio combines traditional designs with contemporary styles and is marketed primarily under the "City Girl" and "Manikya" brands.

The Company's product range includes bangles, earrings, necklaces, chains, rings, bracelets, mangalsutras, jewellery sets and CZ/AD jewellery designed for wedding, festive and everyday use. It operates through B2B wholesale distribution, e-commerce channels and corporate retail tie-ups while also expanding its B2C presence.

R.K. Fashion Accessories follows an asset-light contract manufacturing model supported by third-party manufacturers and skilled artisans, primarily in Kolkata. The Company also has a presence through shop-in-shop counters and online marketplaces. In FY26, B2B sales accounted for a substantial portion of its revenue from operations.

Strengths

1. Established operating history in the imitation jewellery market with experience across wholesale and retail distribution.

2. Presence under brands such as City Girl and Manikya supports product recognition across its target customer segments.

3. Contract manufacturing provides access to skilled artisans and product capabilities without requiring the entire manufacturing process to be maintained in-house.

4. Multiple sales channels including B2B distribution, e-commerce and corporate retail tie-ups provide different routes to market.

5. The Company has an established plating facility and focuses on maintaining product quality across a broad jewellery range.

Weaknesses

1. A significant portion of revenue is generated from a limited number of customers, increasing exposure to customer concentration.

2. The business depends on third-party contract manufacturers for production and may be affected by disruptions or quality issues at these entities.

3. A substantial portion of the Company's revenue is generated from eastern India, creating geographic concentration.

4. The business requires working capital to maintain inventory and support continued expansion.

5. The Company does not operate on the basis of a confirmed long-term order book and produces goods based partly on anticipated demand.

Opportunities

1. Expansion of the organised fashion jewellery market can provide opportunities to increase branded product sales.

2. Growth in online retail can support broader geographic reach beyond the Company's traditional wholesale markets.

3. The proposed B2B showroom and B2C stores can expand the Company's direct physical retail presence.

4. Establishment of a new plating facility can increase control over a key part of the jewellery finishing process.

5. Wider adoption of affordable fashion accessories across wedding, festive and daily-use categories can expand the addressable consumer base.

Threats

1. Fluctuations in prices of raw materials such as gold, copper and other metal components may affect product costs and margins.

2. Changes in fashion trends and consumer preferences may affect demand for particular designs or product categories.

3. Competition from organised brands, local manufacturers and unorganised sellers may create pricing pressure.

4. Dependence on suppliers and contract manufacturers exposes the business to raw-material availability and production risks.

5. Inferior raw materials or quality issues at contract manufacturers could affect product quality and the Company's reputation.

1. The Company has been operating in the imitation jewellery segment since 2010 and has developed an established wholesale distribution business.

2. Its product portfolio spans multiple jewellery categories marketed under brands including City Girl and Manikya.

3. Revenue from operations increased from ₹17.77 crore in FY25 to ₹30.35 crore in FY26, while PAT increased from ₹2.00 crore to ₹6.29 crore.

4. The Company uses multiple distribution channels including B2B wholesale, e-commerce and corporate retail partnerships.

5. IPO proceeds are proposed to support expansion through a new plating facility, B2B showroom, B2C stores, inventory and working capital.

India's imitation and fashion jewellery market serves consumers across wedding, festive, occasion-wear and everyday-use segments. Demand is influenced by fashion trends, rising consumer interest in affordable accessories, increased online shopping and the growing presence of organised brands.

Imitation jewellery allows consumers to access a wider variety of designs at significantly lower price points than precious jewellery. This supports frequent purchases and makes the category suitable for rapidly changing fashion preferences. E-commerce platforms and social media have also increased product discovery and enabled jewellery brands to reach customers beyond their traditional geographic markets.

R.K. Fashion Accessories operates across wholesale, e-commerce and corporate retail channels and is seeking to expand its physical B2B and B2C presence. Its proposed investments in a new plating facility, showroom, stores and inventory are intended to support this expansion. However, the industry remains fragmented and competitive, with demand influenced by changing designs, raw-material costs, pricing and consumer preferences.
